(VIDEO) Romney will fight medical marijuana tooth and nail

OT(just so this isn't 100% irrelevant): Fuck Romney. I'd rather elect someone from a nazi party.
Then instead of arrests you'd just have executions for those who are caught with drugs.

Nobody can honestly say medical marijuana is a legitimate business. It's a ruse and a joke. You could walk in to your physician, complain about a headache, slip him a check for a few hundred and bam, there's your medical marijuana card. What about the people with these cards who get their prescriptions and then sell them in order to fund their cocaine/heroin habits? I think marijuana has potential for medical purposes, but the current system is in dire need of a crackdown.

if we were all trying to assist each other instead of trying to profit and "beat" each other at taking we would be rewarded for giving and helping others instead of stressing over how to beat them out

If we all agreed about everything all the time, then the world would be a magical place full of rainbows and unicorns. I agree.

Federal legalization/FDA approval would lead to a more rigid prescription system. In practice, state medical use seems to be leading more in the direction of legalization for recreational use/OTC like medical use, which is more desirable anyway, in my opinion.

How is this any different than oxycodone or valium or any other drug you get from a doctor? Thats exactly how i used to get my dilaudid and xanax when i was doing it... i used to get 240 of each every month... and then was selling some of it to pay for it and get other drugs....

It isn't. That's why that system needs to be cleaned up as well and only given to people in serious pain as a result from permanent injuries and terminal illness. Not some college aged pussy who moans about a headache. Why add even more drugs to the equation.

no no, there's the libertarian party candidate Gary Johnson, the socialist party candidate Stewart Alexander, and the rent is too damn high party candidate Jimmy McMillan.

Don't forget Jill Stein of the Green Party. Not only is she pro-marijuana, but she's a motherfucking doctor. I want her elected mostly so everyone has to call her Doctor President Stein.

Very much so... we need to take all the middlemen out so that its not a gigantic criminal racket... if theres not billions/trillions? to be made by exploiting people and monopolizing the market the problems would all but disappear...

Making a product "hard to get" turns it into this exotic desireable thing that people will seek

Look at high priced commodities... gold, platinum, daimonds, heroin, cocaine... very simple substances with very limited uses yet their rarity makes them valuable and sought after

We can't really solve the problem of dishonest patient leads to inproper medical action by doctor, and going crazy in restrictions leads to cases where people can't get treatment that is legitimately indicated for their issues (we have both problems currently). Allowing recreational users to get a hold of medicine seems less a problem than denying it to people in need (or we need some opiates/gabaergics/what-have-you available legally for recreational use, to disincentivize medical fraud).

socialism essentially

Nope.

All current forms of government are inferior and don't work. I would have said socialism if I believed in it.

I believe in a system economic in the true sense of the word, to economize and waste little and use technology to mechanize all human needs. I believe in abolishing the monetary system, and I believe in systems theory and a scientific view towards government. Science has no bias, ego, and also needs to be tested for validation.

So essentially, not even close.
