i never understood why they replaced the ranks with army ranks.
how the fuck are most people suppose to know how good or bad a random military rank is?

the level number and the grade are two seperate things

you have an overall military style grading system, and the level you achieve is seperate for each multiplayer game

for instance, you may have level 20 on deathmatch, but then you're team deathmatch could be 2. you have to achieve it in each game seperately.

such a horrible horrible game a major step down from halo 2 IMO.
Halo:CE was the best obviously, but halo 2 is probably the single greatest online multiplayer game ever made, I'd even go so far as to say a better online game than WOW. No other game did for online console gaming what halo 2 did.

It means that comparing WoW and Halo 3 to pick the better online game is ridiculous. One is an MMORPG for the PC and the other is a console FPS. Halo is of course a better console FPS than WoW, and WoW is of course a better MMORPG than Halo. They don't appeal to the same crowd, game system, or much of anything. That's why I say it makes as much sense as comparing apples and oranges

chucked in the solo mission on the hardest level on the big screen and couldn't get past the first stage :D i've pretty much forgotten how to play this thing.

the new telly makes the game stunningly beautiful!
