I don't think it changes the ending so it's a good thing. If you kill Derrick McCreary and not Francis, you can ring him to clear a wanted level. This is handy if you're also going out with Kiki because she will also clear it, so it's really handy in missions where you get up to three stars.

I've started a new game which I will make near perfect, 100% mission success and no deaths or arrests. Doing well and not near the end. Then I will go for 100% completion just for my own satisfaction!

currently at about 60%. got a couple guys left on the most wanted list to destroy. got a heli, and parked it on the road outside a safehouse, and the game saves it there, even though i lost the propeller when i got it down to the street :D.

but it's okay, they grew back.
