video game: Goldeneye 007 (N64)

This was my favourite game ever on the N64. Some people say Perfect Dark is better. But I've always enjoyed Goldeneye more.

I remember trying to beat the second bunker level on my own customer settings on 007 mode. I set it up so that the second shot would kill you.

I used to love playing multiplayer against my friends because not all of them knew how to strafe and they would be so easy to kill.

Anyway share some memories of this awesome game.

This was revolutionary for me.

I can't even begin to fathom how many hours I spent shooting my friends and relatives on this thing.

There used to be arguments over who would be which character. Odd Job was popular because he was small and thus a small target.

My favourite game. And Perfect Dark was great as well, though it was missing something that Goldeneye had, possibly the fact that it wasn't the original. I liked the addition of the bots for multiplayer in PD, and some of the crazy new features like the missiles that you could guide with cameras and the hoverbikes. Though Goldeneye wins.

I used to play the runway level in Goldeneye the most. The sound of the soldier's bones crunching as you drive the tank over the top of them was something I never grew tired of.

I remember reading something about how there was going to be an online version of 007 sometime last year. Can't really remember the exact name or website, but I played the beta version. I agree though, best game ever.

Multiplayer golden gun mode rulez and is the only way to play.

goldeneye was a fuckin gr8 game, i spent many hrs in front of especialy the sniper shit iin the first level, but alas then perfect dark came along....2nd function 4 weapons n shit...i give goldeneye007 4 starz 4 its lack of 2nd functional weaponary

I can remember having some truly epic sniper battles with my older brother on this back in the day. Sat next to each other on the sofa not saying a word for upwards of half an hour, the air so thick with tension you could cut it with a knife & then as one would take the chance & peek out round a corner the sound of a ricocheting bullet would quickly follow & then would come the inevitable "AHHHHHHH!!! Fuck ya!" :D
