I'm not contemplating using one for my hobbies, but a friend of mine who is a nurse in a geriatric hospital in the 3rd world thinks it might help her with elderly patients whose veins are hard to locate.
My preliminary opinion to her is that affordable vein finders (less than, say, 300 dollars) are only for pediatric usage, infants having thin, translucent skins. Buying one for old folks would be a waste of money.
Has anyone in the Bluelight community experience with such devices?
