Phenethylamines Vaping/smoking mescaline

I'm not sure that would work well, as mescaline is not really steam-volatile. And damp weed gets dried in a herb vape before convection carries over the cannabinoids in my experience - I have often vaped fresh buds directly from the plant. I'd assume the same would happen with damp freebase-infused herb.

It works for immiscible reasonably volatile oils, which a lot of freebase alkaloids tend to be (while cannabinoids are not). And I've found it effective for other phenethylamines. The principles behind it are pretty well understood (vapour pressure of mixtures, Raoult's law, Dalton's law). But the sheer quantities required for mescaline dosing would make it impractical, I agree.

Technically, if disulfiram is present then the necessary quantity drops ~10-fold.

I know people who tried steam distilling mescaline as a means of purification, it is inefficient to impossible. It works nicely for unsubstituted, simple alkylated or fluorinated phenethylamines, but for 2,5-dimethoxyamphetamine it drops off to be almost useless, and its even worse with mescaline.

Yet seemingly effective for DOC and 25E-NBOH - although I realise that's likely more a function of their extreme potencies.

Good to know (and rather a shame it can't be used for mescaline extraction).

I should really make a 2C-D benzoate vape some time in PG/VG. It is right in the middle potency wise and could be very interesting. I have no doubt it works.

There's an erowid report of somebody in Russia vaporizing DOB and ending up hospitalized over a psychotic episode iirc. As far as smoking psychedelic phenethylamines in general though, I've smoked/vaporized allylescaline, 2C-B, 25B-NBOMe, and 25E-NBOH. I'm prone to smoking foolish shit, 7-OH-Mitragynine, NMT, etizolam, phenazolam, etc., but as far as psychedelic phenethylamines go the only one I found to be somewhat wasteful was 2C-B. DOM is next on the list to experiment with vaporizing.

Yep, I found vaping 2C-B to be a disappointment too, but 2C-E works and works well, so I reckon your DOM experiment has a good chance of success (if I had some, I'd race you...).

How did you vape the 2C-B and how was the NMT?

Sandwiched in weed, the smoke was caustic like insufflating it. NMT was underwhelming but produced a breakthrough experience in high enough doses that reminded me much more of the "jungle spice" impure yellow DMT you can pull out of things with simple straight-to-bases that you don't wash afterwards. Much more profound feeling, much easier to remember things afterwards. Physically much more intense too, I really enjoyed it but find it best in combination with DMT in the form of that "jungle spice".
