Do people still inject cyclizine with methadone ampoules to recreate the diconal rush? I've done it with H and it is indeed the king of all anti-histamines for this purpose.
My question is this: given the low water solubility of cyclizine hcl (1mg/ml) how do people inject the tablets?
In the past I have crushed the tablets and added them into the barrell, drawn up my H solution and injected (which is incredibly unhealthy). I was under the impression this was really the only way to do this. These days i wouldn't have the veins to attempt such an endeavour, and a little more sense to know not to.
Perhaps cooking the tablets in citric acid and H increases solubility but I doubt it.
The pharmaceutical ampoules of Valoid contain the lactate salt of cyclizine, which is water soluble (50mg+/ml). The citrate salt is also highly water soluble.
As injecting crushed tablets is so unhealthy later today I will post a pretty clear and easy to follow method for isolating cyclizine hcl from tablets and turning it into either the lactate or citrate salt (citric acid is easily available to IV drug users).
Ideally this would be done with 1000mg cyclizine hcl (20 tablets) but could be done with as little as 10 tablets/500mg. A basic knowledge of acids/bases and salts will be required and previous acid/base-extraction experience would be an advantage.
