blahblahblah: I get it, you're one of those historical revisionists - I saw that play at home & you were out!
====
raoul: you will be out too, if you share needles. Down... & out... of the permanent type.

Now, just to make everyone squirm & feel sick to their stomach, when I was first got into\was around IV drug use in the early '70s, nobody thought twice about sharing rigs. There was no more thought about sharing a needle than sharing a joint. 8(
I even saw people share needles w/ complete strangers!
It still makes me shudder 30 years later.
Me & my buds were lucky, I guess. We found out quickly that if you walked into a Pharm, as if it was the most routine thing in the world & asked for a "30 day kit for U-100", there was never, ever a hassle.
I experimented a few times back then & still do every once in a while. If I say anything other than "I would like a package of XXx U-100 syringes", I get rejected - I 50, always wear a short sleeve shirt & intentionally dress so I look straight laced & hard-corp Republican! hahaha....
But I can go in looking like I've been on a 3 week bender, long-sleeve sweat-shirt on a 90* day, looking like I should smellll horrid, & if I ask for "... a package of XXx U-100 syringes", bingo.
What a strange world we live in......
PS to Raoul: If buying online from a med supply, or just buying online makes you uncomfortable, you have two other options: online veterinarian supply, or off-line, go to what we call in the states, a "Feed Store" - a retailer that sells supplies & feed/grains to farmers for livestock. They will usually have syringes of all type & needles of all sizes.....
Enjoy, but be safe.....
Time to go,
