I'll take uppers over benzos and the like, but opiates over them all.

Since when are 2C-x's amphetamines??? Not the last time I checked.
 
Uppers by far... I don't see the point of downers, unless you're wanting to "forget" something (but why not just work it out in your head). In other words, I don't find downers to be party/fun drugs at all... I'd prefer to work out probs I needed to escape, or mebbe take antidepressants.

P.S. IMO opiates are neither uppers nor downers.
 
It depends on what you're considering a downer. A depressant in general, or only the gaba-ergics.

at higher doses they do tend to make you nod... i agree that opiates are somewhere in the middle because moderate doses seem to have different effects on different people, i.e. some will get energy (like me) and some will feel more sedated...
 
i spent most of my life being down, so now i enjoy uppers, namely caffiene

i dont know what it is, but i get dizzy and nauseous everytime i take an opiate, whether it be hydrocodone or hydromorphone. shitty.

I enjoy uppers a lot more, but I do like the occasional 1mg of Xanax on comedowns.
But mind you I've never done any hard downers like OC or heroin so it's still a rather open question if I like uppers more than downers.

Oh, and I rather enjoyed once nodding only on Xanax + alcohol + weed... Who says only hard opiates can make you nod? ^^
 
2x's are slanged "psychedelic amphetamines" as they are ALL take offs of amphetamine
 
^ Yeah but no they aren't. They are ALL take offs of phenethylamine.
They do not contain an alpha-methyl group. So they are not amphetamines.
 
no, they arent amphetamines, but im sorry but phenythalamines ARE take offs of amphet. you take amphet, and tweak it to make phennys (psych amphetas)
but i get you,2cx's are all different tweaked out phenythlamines. and thanks! i didnt know that!

I don't see how opiates could be classified as anything other than downers ... even though certain opiates energize me at certain dosages, I was under the impression that downer was just a term for depressants (which of course opiates are).

They are (respiratory) depressants, but are not in the same category as barbiturates and alcohol (imo the classical downers)... they are narcotic painkillers.
 
Can't really call something better by fact, and for me it all depends on what kind of mood I'm in and whats more easily obtainable at that moment.
