it was a hard choice to make... because i love ativan with a passion; I went with uppers though. counting the amount of good times iv had with both, uppers took the pedistol in terms of euphoria, I never had a comedown i couldn't handle. until then uppers is my choice.

This forum has a lot of opiophiles so I think downers are going to come out on top. I don't have anything against stim users of course, I just don't care for stims all that much anymore.
 
I like the feeling of uppers more, like the best meth high I ever had was better than the best downer high ever. But id rather opiates because there is no comedown and it doesnt significant affect my health or what I need to do in day to day life.

Opiates ftw!
 
^ Yeah, opiates are nice because they aren't total "downers." They give you a nice dopamine rush and at the right dose, you can be high and go about your normal business on opiates. I still choose downers over uppers though, just because I've had too many bad comedowns and a few episodes of amphetamine psychosis. I still don't mind coke once in a while, but I try to avoid amps. It's just a personal thing, I used to love the amphetamine high, but I don't see myself going there again anytime soon.

Hmmmm it was a hard vote for me but 100% uppers. I love MDMA mixed in with a bit of speed. I cant stand being out on friday tired as fuck with a group of people just sitting around and eventually everyone ends up goin to sleep. I love being up till 7-8 a.m. rolling balls and if everyone else is sleeping im still up cleaning the fuck out of everything when i roll lol.

Man, i hate that. A few times i've stayed up from friday morning to monday morning on base and it was fucking horrible. Theres something ludicrously fun about nipping to toilet and doing mad lines of shit base off the cistern in a rural pub. Holy shit memeories are flooding back.

Downers aren't healthier necessarily for example there are a lot of side effects outside of the central nervous system that are unpleasent as hell; if you responsibly use uprs then ur health will be fine, just don't stay up forever, and give yourself sleep and food as needed.

And downers are much more addictive, it's not surprised that a bunch of ADDICTS are voting for a drug either addicted to, but lol w/e. It's a multiveriate poll

that first bits a bit of a generalisation dont you think? plus this is a drug discussion, what do you expect?

im only biased towards downers because ive done the whole speed addiction thing, whereas the great majority of my friends have never touched a downer like morphine, valium, oxy etc neither injected anything either. ive explained to them what its like booting oxy or morphine and they just dont understand why its so appealing to me. they go to the extent to having 3 or 4 30mg codeines and being messed up and being happy with that...each to their own. everyone around here my age is a pill muncher or speed eater.
 
When you can get dopamine and beta-endorphin in the same drug, I think opiates are the best.

When you try to sound smart and don't know what you're talking about...

You don't "get" beta-endorphin from opiate use. You're agonising the receptors it does with an exogenous ligand that's far more euphoric. Morphine and beta-endorphin have substantially different effects.
 
Right, I forgot that opiates only mimic the effect of beta-endorphin on the mu receptors. I must have worded that wrong. I'm gonna use the "I was high" defense.

Now, what the fuck is your problem? Did you come in this thread just to be an asshole like you do in a lot of your posts? Did you know that you can correct people without being a dick?
