It's annoying cos it's not about suppressing people's thoughts or constructive opinions. It's just plain shit talking, and it's ridiculous that the mods have had to even bother re writing guidelines in order to deal with people being twats. U think the mods wanted to spend their own time and energy to make these amendments?
There's loads of decent, smart, caring and funny people here who probably can't be arsed joining in more often cos of the boring negative vibe.
It's nice to see that someone has seen them for what they are, so thank you for that Bob.. Or maybe you're as unintelligent and uneducated as EADD staff,
What really saddens me is the lack of understanding of what freedom of speech means for us druggies, to have somewhere, some platform to really say what we want / need to say and not be punished for it like we are in most of our societies. This is a sad day to lose even more of that little freedom the Internet and this forum allows us
Your post saddens me. I'm suprised such a bright and educated person such as yourself has managed to turn an amendment in the guidelines to basically cover blatant trolling, to your/our freedom of speech to post on this board has somehow now gone..
Koneko said:I'm not too happy about the new adjustment to the guidelines (but hey fuck me..) because I and everyone else in EADD wasn't consulted about them. Consultation is very important when you want agreement, however you've went ahead and imposed new rules without consultation for and behalf of the users of this forum without their input. Well good luck on imposing your rules.
Let's see how the implementation and transparency of the new guidelines work... Alas, my faith in the mods isn't great, neither are they bright enough or educated to deal with the deep issues that come with modding EADD. Though maybe new guidelines will make up for that![]()
What rules have you taken issue with exactly?? The one which basically means don't be persistently horrible or disruptive? I can think of a number of occasions you've taken issue with that behaviour, so what's the issue?
I'm sure some of you will disagree but EADD staff are some of, if not the most easy going with regards enforcing rules and handing our infractions. I don't see these rules changing that either...
OK, you want some input into the guidelines. Go, discuss. They are not set in stone. Let's hear what you've got and maybe we can work something out.
