he anthropomorphizes his turntables so if you pay attention the story's saturated with turntable terminology (starting with the title, wax paper).

used to listen to 7L, esoteric, freestyle fellowship, whatever, but i find all those cats pretty boring now. not really even keeping up with indy hiphop because there's just so much of it that isn't even worth hearing once :\

co-sign on this. shit like POS is why i still fuck with hiphop. three amazing cd's, some of the best beats [most with real instruments] i've heard in a minute.

never better is probably the best one though.
