Undercover cops at raves

The thing about that situation is, what if (and i bet a lot of people will agree) you happened to have a pill or 2 left in your pocket that u were planning to take later?
Then youre fucked...

Agreed, in my situation the cops did not have probable cause to detain and search, but that wouldn't stop them from lying about what they saw to say they saw drugs being passed if they found some. Cops love to push the PC envelope because they are "sure" something is happening, then backfill it with made up facts later.

well shit, i guess youre shit out of luck if they get you for something stupid like thinking youre dealing/buying but you end up actually having something on you. sounds like a lose/lose situation to me!

This was over 10 years ago, but my rule even to this day is not to even talk to anyone at raves or in clubs about drugs if I don't know them.

But isn't the whole point of a rave to tell random people you are "sooo fucked up on [insert drug]"?

Seriously, in my 'rave days' I used to wear a t-shirt that said in big letters: "Just because you're on drugs doesn't make you interesting!"

Here at the big raves/events we have a lot of undercovers.. Every year at Bal en Blanc there is at least 10 busts.. for possession and intent to sell.. didn't go this year or hear anything but last year there was 12 busts that i heard.. and in 2007 about 16-17 if i remember correctly


In the afterhour clubs dont think so.. its always the same guys that are selling hanging around the bathrooms and they're always there
