Ultra Music Festival - 3/28 & 3/29 - Miami, FL

i just hope that phase 2 of the line-up will announce more headliners the caliber of the cure, adult., the killers, prodigy, shiny toy guns (like the years past...

10 year anniversary should mean bigger not the same as every year...

2fuckingshay cuz this is 10yr celebration so it should be huge and right now just looks like every other year..... we should start a thread on who would be our fav people to play... my vote is for a trippy radiohead session! kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidA
 
I'm really trying to go to this this year, I missed the past 2 years but went the 2 years before that and I'm dying to go back
 
Hmm..I saw most of those people last year..I hope Phase 2 looks a little better..as you guys have said, it's the fucking 10 year anniversary! And yeah, I'm all about the Radiohead, pookie.
 
is this the first year it's a 2 day event? or was it like this last year as well? and damn tix are expensive! I paid between $40-$50 in years past when I've gone. Now it's $129 which is a lot even for 2 days.

Does anyone know of any good inexpensive hotels either in South Beach or downtown Miami? i'm debating on whether or not to stay in South Beach or downtown Miami. I've stayed in both areas before and definatly enjoyed South Beach more because that's where everything is happening, but if I stay downtown I'll be closer to Ultra and Space
 
I think it's kind of a joke since they haven't even announced the second part of the line-up. So far it mr. "I am the light and salvation of trance" himself, Tiesto, HOLY FUCKING SHIT....yawn.

I'd really like to see someone like Laurent Garnier or Underworld take the stage. Hell, even someone like Aphex Twin would be a nice change of pace.
 
I'm going, this is my 3rd year. ^^^^ I totally agree. I live an hour from miami. :-P

They should have infected mushroom play one year.

this is the 2nd year its been a 2 day event.

and as far as inexpensive hotels i dont know what to tell you... but Future Sound Of Breaks and World Of Drum N Bass and The Contagious Music Party will all be at Discotekka/Area 51 which is also close to Space/Ultra.

South Beach is still obviously where its at... nothing beats hotel pool and beach parties ALL DAY AND NIGHT!

thank god i dont have to worry about hotels anymore cuz i live in Miami Beach =P
 
I am going to the WMC again this year. I haven't been in a few years so I figured I might as well hit it up again. Hopefully I will run into some of you all down there. I am just waiting for the list of all the events to come out here soon.

I'm with you I would love to see infected mushroom, and unless they get some more amazing DJs i don't think i can justify spending that much, especially with the great DJs we have playing here in south florida

o and i didn't even know that that festival down here was langerado, i've been planning to go to that, me and some friends are gonna camp out with sum cid there, thats gonna be one for the books
