^indeed. I've had some substantial drug habits while with my gf over the last 6-7 years and so long as i supported my habits, didn't destroy her life with them and kept my shit together, there were no problems. That's really how it should be.
I do see money being the issue, it's the only thing that would fuck up my relationship with me using drugs, aside from being blacked out constantly.
my drug use actually motivates me to make more money, so i can buy more drugs, more musical equipment so i can get more high and enjoy what i love most. The thing is, you have to make money to be a successful drug user in this world, if your drug use is preventing you from making more than enough money to support your habit and cover essentials plus comforts then you have a problem. You could be addicted to methamphetamine, heroin and alprazolam but if you're making $300,000 a year and are financially savvy, you don't really have a problem.
most drug users aren't financially savvy, most people aren't either actually, work on that if it's a problem, you wouldn't believe how many people have no fucking idea what's going on with their finances.
