UK: Now Mersey drug dealers are lacing skunk weed with heroin

They used to have reports in the news about heroin being in x pills. I could find half a dozen twats just in my town who could verify this by telling you how smacky pills felt and that this is why the pills were addictive. Of course unverifiable anecdotal evidence is always conclusive proof to the media.

It's ridiculous how often i see people that think pills have heroin in them,
but occasionally someone will swear up and down that they were buying weed with heroin / cocaine / meth in it.

It makes no sense to cut marijuana with heroin / coke / meth and keep selling it.
A. These drugs have thier own large scale markets
B. Those drugs are more expensive.
C. Those drugs Vaporize ( only exception is crack cocaine ) Direct flame will destroy most of the drug making it pointless.

Most of the idiots you claim they got heroin pills just got some good straight mdma pills or possibly mde and are used to getting shitty meth bombs and think that's what mdma feels like. I have known people who rolled countless times and still believe that dribble.
 
We used to think our hash had opium in it, it was 1987 though. We had no internet and some older guy said it so it must be true. We should have been worried the hash had some crap used to cut it like soap, that actually happaned. Today you should be worried about fertilizers and chemicals that didn't get flushed because that really happens too. Fear of opiate laced weed has always been an urban legend, that is not going to ever happen.
 
Also who is this ex user and how is there ANY away to know that he wasn't getting those effects from not smoking weed alone! Iv had some pretty weird shit happen when I don't smoke weed, probably just because my brain isn't used to it! Crazy assumption to presume ur addicted to a whole range of other substances.
Also would it even be possible to smoke methadone even if used in pure Hal salt? Given that it's in the uk I'd imagine they are imagining people are dunking their skunk in that green methadone syrup. There are so many odd things in this article lol
 
This is the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Yes, they're going to lace cheap drugs with expensive ones and screw themselves on the profit they could be making by selling both. Whatever.
 
You would produce opiate addiction and then sell more profitable opiods to your clients.

The ex user, named Dave, was probably unaware that marijuana can be addictive itself and cause paranoia and delusions, like the suspicion that your dealer is doping you.

I am pretty sure that it happened to me once.
My friend called me and told me he thought he weed was laced with opium.
I willingly smoked it, and felt extra high, including high in a way that was not a weed high alone. Spaced out, relaxed, with visual disturbances / hallucinations. This was in the 1980s, btw. I have been hoping to find opiated weed ever since then, and haven't found it yet, so it seems to be pretty unusual, at least, but it does apparently happen!
 
yeh i've had opium herb once but it was more expensive and looked like it was dredged up from an oil spill, certainly would have questioned the dealer if he tried selling it as unadulterated cannabis. i'm quite amazed that it's acceptable to publish this kind of horseshit in the UK, from where so many of these sort of articles seem to come. any self-respecting editor would literally hang your nuts from a light post if you tried to publish such garbage in Canada.

agree that this is a horrible source and whole story is bullshit.

on the flipside, all those saying "heroin is so much more expensive then weed" it's about the same price or less depending on tolerance to either substance in my area, so if heroin WERE smokeable this might actually be a good scheme for dealers.

i mean shit if you smoked some herb and felt all warm and happy, maybe even nodding would you not think "goddamn this is some dank shit" and go back for more?

Depends entirely on location/market.

Where I live, a "bag of dope" (insert random generic term) would cost you at least as much as 1/8th of an ounce of cannabis.
It just wouldn't happen; unless you did it yourself (for yourself)

I believe he's referring to a "point" or a tenth of a gram, which is probably between 5 and 20% pure in Oz.
 
It doesn't matter how cheap heroin is where, unless it was the price of sugar...it makes no sense to "impregnate" marijuana with it and sell it as normal bud...

We live in a big world with a long drug history, and I've no doubt that someone,somewhere has "laced" marijuana with an opiate at some point in time...but in this case, it's complete bullshit...

Also, no matter where you live and how relatively cheap heroin is, unless you're selling it as "special opiate weed" and charging double, it still makes no sense for anyone to "lace" their weed with opium/heroin/whatever else...think about it for a minute...
