UK Ketamine Thread v.2 - shortage or not?

I got some today. 1g. It looks the part afair. But my few hours of weekday drug taking are fairly well ear marked a smoked of dark an a few lines of white. Someone - I think here, once said there's no such thing as a dumb question, just ill informed corpses :( could some one make a small list of drug that sre 'ok with ket' Note obviously no expected authorotative line, but user experienves

Cocane - isuffulated
MDMA - oral, insuffulated together/seperate
Amphetime sulfate,IV/IMmix
dexamphetime oral
Mephedrone oral, insuffulated, IM
Methylone oral, insuffulated, IM
Dihydrocodiene - oral
Medical cannabis choclotae bar - gobbled
Heroin - smoked, afer iv, mixed in rig for IM (seems a terrible HR idea however someones bound to have tried it!)
Xanax 4mg oral

Ketamine... My favourite drug from my favourite class of drugs (although closely follwed by MXE), but I haven't been able to get my hands on the former since 2010. And I live in London now!

Is it still knocking about at all in London?
 
On the S v R debate I have some vials of R and it is very different from the street stuff. Racemic feels much more complete to me. Some of the difference could be down to purity of course: the stuff in vials would be close to 100% whereas the street stuff probably more like 70%. However, even allowing for the potency by upping the dose, there are qualitative differences between the two which leads me to believe that the stuff being advertised as S Let is what it says.

I could be very wrong of course! I do prefer the purity of the vials though...
 
It's definitely kicking about but difficult to get hold of. I have a supplier who occasionally mixes it with MDMA and I'm hoping to pick up about 5g of it tomorrow.
 
Not sampled any since last June, had some terrible stuff, then got hold of some very decent stuff.

I was working at a large online retailers warehouse over christmas, got chatting to this young lad working there, he said he didnt realise, before speaking to me, that having to have half a gram with no tolerance to just feel super wonky, no hole etc. was not how its supposed to be.

Oh, I miss the good old days!

I'm itching to give it a whirl soon, but i really have no idea what the state of the UK is, despite DNM options, which i cba with really.

My missus works with tha yoof and says K has been mentioned by a few of them of late... Even that at least one school where she works has a bit of a problem with it.

These are all teenagers, mid teens. Surprised me when she mentioned it a few weeks ago.

Everyone I know that still buys drugs can get it, great quality, but ?30 a G is pretty standard now.

Some dealers who are only just selling K too.

So it's about.
 
I personally far prefer the s-isomer to racemic. It's a nicer, more euphoric experience, and definitely feels more potent.

That said I'm just going off what the vendor told me it was. But I have noticed a definite difference between racemic and s-isomer ket when comparing the two. Seems too noticeable to be placebo but you never know.

I think the difference is definitely quite significant; like I said earlier, the s+ isomer quite simply doesn't give me any CEV visuals at all (not for want of trying over many years/batches/doses since the india ban,) whereas the racemic gives me very vivid ones.

I've messaged F&B to see if he can be stirred into posting some clarification on which isomer is being put out by the chinese labs. More evidence that pre-ban ketamine was racemic, whereas post-ban chinese is s+, is that DNM vendors have started selling "indian ketamine" specifically labelled as racemic, and it sometimes is (or was, at least) actually racemic. However, it should be noted that some vendors have since been cashing in on this, and mislabelling their ketamine.

The ketamine I've had these past few months has generally been very accessible and high quality - it would appear to me that the supply corridors are currently very secure. That said, I had some this week which was a mixture of shards and powder. Sometimes this stuff is really good, but I'd only rate this as 6/10. It had a sweet drip and was noticeably less potent, so I'm assuming it was cut with some kind of sugar.

This is the thing, you never know if you can trust the vendors word on what their product is, or if they even know themselves. Odds are the big ones have multiple sources and switch batches all the time.

But if we assume for the sake of conversation the vendors are trustworthy - when I've ordered s-isomer and racemic I noticed s-isomer comes in noticeable shards while racemic was thinner powder. The s-isomer definitely hit harder and felt more euphoric to me. The racemic felt kind of empty in comparison, it was less potent, and yes it did give me more CEVs but it didn't give me the enjoyable headspace I loved from the s-isomer.

My favourite thing on s-isomer is to play some relaxing music and just sink into my bed. I was very relaxed, calm, and happy. I found that on racemic it was a less pleasant experience. My thoughts would dart all over the place, I'd more likely become anxious, I wasn't nearly as relaxed or euphoric.

Different strokes for different folks.

I tell you what though, I really wish I'd got to try MXE.

Unfortunately I saw MXE as a scurge, because I wanted ketamine and all we could get was MXE. Came out of some brutal holes wondering wtf was going on with my reality. You know it's powerful when you're going "but I thought it was just a k-hole!!".

It's a shame that I didn't wonder why everybody with half a clue on BL was ranting and raving about it, and explore it properly.

Psychedelic - tick
Stimulant - tick
Sedative - tick
Analgesic - tick
Antidepressant - tick
Opiate like effects but with a magic ability to significantly negate opiate withdrawal with no rebound issues - tick
Fuckin awesome - tick

I thought I was going to have to tell my parents i was permanently brain damaged after the first time i was sold MXE as Ket in 2011.

This ketamine is racemic and is presumably sourced from India, as per the other recent (and old) Indian ketamine I sourced, which was also racemic and looked alike. Of course, this has now become a thing and every-body's started saying their stuffs indian, but whatever. I can tell it's racemic when 1-200mg starts giving me CEV's, whereas no amount of s+ does.

...just as, that THIS TIME was actually THE TIME you fried the hell outta your Brain - ...followed by the thoughts that you just cannot fry the Hell out of your Head and Brains, no matter what it felt like some time beforehand! ;)

That's the most unique thought I'll ever think to be THAT connected to a Compound, as it's almost part of it at all!
 
All of the "K" in my town is absolutely shite, had bit recently after a long break, the price increase on ten years ago is insane as well, but literally 500mg lines with no hole, in fact not many effects to speak of, bloked nose and disappointment
 
I really think that snorting k is a big waste, IM is the best way if the stuff is pretty pure and uncut. never tried it IV bc of the risk of leaving the rig in my arm while k-holing, but IM definetly reduces dose, and it gives me another "side" of the ketamine. usually I do it in the deltoid muscle it's painless and in max 5 min (sometimes 5-10) I'm in the k hole with usually (150mg - 200 mg ) powder to liquid, heat applied. always worked wonders and never was cut as shit but this is in Eastern Europe aka RO.
