That's the whole thing mynameisnotdeja.. you understand our point yet continue to say that we're "close-minded" and "not accepting differences". So, obviously you DON'T understand the points we're making. You just can't accept that. You say you like her voice but FYI that's not her voice.

If you ask me, you're the one that's been attacking (well, that is in regards to Finder & my posts.. others have been rude and attacked you personally for some stupid reason).

^^this conversation hardly involves me. I just think once in a while there needs to be pictures to remind people of who they're talking about: a nice girl.
 
How do you know she's nice? Have you met her? Are you friends with her?

Maybe she's too stupid to realize that she's a total fraud, but "being nice" (if she is) doesn't change anything. Regardless, she obviously has no amount integrity to speak of considering she plays her part in this charade.

wow and here I thought the conversation was starting to die out after page 5...silly me.

I know my fellow anti-ashlee folks don't mean to seem like they're attacking deja...but reading the posts does give off that kind of vibe. The tone is quite blunt in terms of how things are stated and some of the statements can seem harsher than intended to the naked eye, but I don't think they're attacks...though they may be perceived as such by some.

I can't really speak for others deja, but you know I do respect your difference in musical taste. What I think others are trying to point out is that the music has no soul. There is no tangible purpose of those songs other than to just make money and to sucker people with easy listening taste. Catchy songs can be infectious, but they can also be incredibly shallow and lack any substance. That is what Ashlee's music projects, or at least that is what she projects to those who greatly value their love for pure and genuine music. You might disagree with that, but seeing how she's not credible whatsoever in her "profession"...it's hard to understand how you can support her regardless of her being a musical sham. I can respect that you stick with your own feelings, but I will never truly understand willful ignorance to facts that say "hey, this person is a fake". You disagree with points made by others, but there isn't really any supporting evidence to prove your stance as one to be appreciated and accepted as worthwhile and legitimate, if that makes any sense. We all have guilty pleasures, but sometimes defending them without giving reasons other than "it sounds good" and "hey I just like it" can make us seem ignorant if it's a position that's easy for others to criticize. If you can't provide a sensible understanding of why you like Ashlee even though she's a fake, or provide reasoning as to why she isn't a fake, then people can't understand where you, as an ashlee fan, are coming from when you disagree with their position.

And I agree with Finder. I don't think she's good looking whatsoever. She fakes that edgy rock look and if I want someone like that, I'd go straight for the hot gutterpunks. ;)

If no one cares if I like the songs, theres no debate. I must have told you a million times already I got your point. I wasnt the one accusing you of attacking me, Im just saying, stop acting like no one hears your point when Ive already said I do. I simply disagree, and theres nothing that will change that.
