damn i'm bummed i missed his first season...
anyone know a possible torrent site with the old episodes??
 
borat & bruno are genius creations, as was Ali G.

it made for some fantastic viewing in the early days, when some of the people being interviewed didn't really know whether he was serious or not.

you have to respect someone who says 'aaaaiii', every time the deputy leader of the FBI says 'FBI' =D

borat's great - the aforementioned fox hunter sketch was just superb. in kazakstahn, we have no bear...

the funniest thing was seeing people cuss him for being stupid; without realising that this young, cambridge educated lawyer is making shitloads of cash just by taking the piss :D

i've got 'Da Gospel According to Ali G', if i can i'll scan the world map & post it... it's just too funny.

australia is marked 'banghradesh', all of africa is simply 'jamaica' and the US is two separate countries - Da East and Da West Sides... =D
 
^^ I'm sorry but, i don't think these to threads should have been merged. these are 2 different threads with 2 different concepts. Just because they share an interst in a single character should not give you the right to merg them. Way to f@ck up a good idea

Certainly was. Was hard to watch though. I expected him to get the complete shit kicked out of him so many times in that episode. However, it was a Classic.
 
I thought it was stupid when it 1st came on HBO! Then I started to get into it and it is a very funny show!

Kinda reminds me of The Tom Green Show in a way? I love when Ali brings out naked pics and shows them to strangers! The facial expressions are priceless!

It just popped on HBO as I am writing this. Cool!
 
i've only seen the movie he made and thought it was hilarious. i just realized that he had his own t.v. show. i will definitely be checking it out.

is it anything like the movie Ali G in da House?
 
The film is completely duff compared to the TV shows. If you thought the movie was great then their's a possibility the episodes on TV might be the best thing you've ever seen.....:)
 
Last nights episode wasnt too great.

I watched a repeat of the vet episode and have to say it was pretty funny. Of course, getting past his accent is one thing, but after awhile, you understand it. Will watch it again though! :)

the bit from the first (us) season where bruno interviews people from the ny fashion scene is too hilarious.
