TV: Lost

Holy bad ass episode!

A few comments...

NSFW:
Charlie is a fucking idiot, him and Desmond totally could have swam up and out by the time the station filled up with water... or his hobbit ass could have squeezed out that porthole

15 people died... wow, talk about a brutal episode.

Go Jack for beating Ben's face in.

Was that walt manifesting himself or the smoke monster manifesting itself as walt? OR, are walt's powers tied into the smoke monster itself??

Locke is the man.

Some serious shit must go down over the next three seasons to make Jack, the person that wants off the island more than anyone, turn into a suicidal alcoholic pill popper that wants to go BACK.

This show could go in so many directions now... I'm super excited. Its gonna be a loooonnnggg wait till February 2008.

^^ might wanna use NSFW tags before someone assrapes you for giving that away...

I thought that was pretty lame too, they had MORE than enough time to swim out of there... if they could make it DOWN, i'm sure they could swim up even faster... I'm guessing he sacrificed himself because he was so caught up in the concept of fate. I think he believed that if he didn't die, then no one would be rescued (most importantly Claire). Pretty retarded if you ask me, considering all the times he "dodged fate" with the help of Desmond.

My point (several episodes ago) was:

Why not just cut that thick cable running to the looking glass from the island? You don't even have to get your feet wet. But yeah, charlie fucked up, and he really is dead. He could have wriggled out of the porthole, imo.

Season Finale was one of the best so far

But who's dead?

I thought the same thing about the wire..... and yah, he totally could have wiggled out that hole. He is a hobbit after all.

What a fucking fantastic two hours of television that was last night. I'm still scratching my head trying to make sense of what happened, and where this show could possibly go. 8 months is too long.

P.S.
NSFW:
Anyone catch what the name of the funeral parlor(Hoffs/Drawlar) might be an anagram for? Think about it.....

For the past 2 years i've been watching Lost off the torrents on K
If lost isnt confusing enough, add K to it. Its quite spunout and sometimes drifts into reality.

im like WTF??? right now

So was that the end?????

Flash Forward! (btw its Hoffs Drawlar)

Finally got a chance to catch up on all the end of season 3. I am very entertained. :D

Some thoughts on the funeral:

NSFW:
I think it's Locke's funeral. Locke had absolutely no one. Jack would describe him as neither friend nor family, but would certainly have a lot of
respect for him in retrospect if he realized he'd been right all along about leaving the island. In a way I hope I'm not right on this -- Locke is one of my favorite characters, and I'd definitely miss him if he were gone for the last season. But logically, I think it's most likely him in the coffin.

But the real question is, is the flash forward what WILL necessarily happen, or what MIGHT happen? The way this show twists around concepts of causality, fate, and free will, I could see the real ending diverging quite a bit from the finale's scenes with Jack.

amen to the cutting the cable and wiggling thru the hobbit hole...was thinking the same...

NSFW:
the flash forward thing really disappointed me at the end.....its just way too far fecthed for my taste....i mean yea 3/4 of the show is pretty damm far fetched (it all worked tho) but the flsh forward thing is just plain rediculous IMO...:p

oh and by the way did anyone notice how smoking fucking hott kate was looking in that last seen? =D

on the funeral

NSFW:
Locke's funeral would certainly be a good guess since the name on the obit appears to be Jeremy Bentham, a contemporary of the historical John Locke.

Or, as I think it is....

NSFW:
It's someone we haven't met yet(i.e. "the rescuers"). Same thing with whomever Kate goes back to at the end. By the way, is Kate now free, or is she in hiding? Lots of questions, no answers for 8 months. Grrr Argh....
