I loved Freaks and Geeks, its our generation's My So-Called Life, all the characters were spot on, so true to life that even though it was set in the eighties I consider it timeless. The freaks, the geeks and even their parents were handled with up most sensitivity and dare I say groundbreaking honesty as well as being funny; Six Feet Under was fantastic but Freaks and Geeks made me laugh like nothing else, it was so welldone it almost physically hurts / stings when it was cancelled.
Everyone has their favourite moments, I'm no different: Neil dealing with is father infidelity; the garage clicker, Mory the "figure", deciding to tell his mother... was so real to me.
Sam, Neil and Bill conversations and daring Bill to drink just a whole mess of crap from the blended for money! Daniel and Kim's rocky relationship, Daniel trying to be a "punker" for the night. Mille and her poor dead dog. Nick's song tribute to Lindsay; "... as I'm riding on my horse through in the countryside I ask Lady L if I could give her a ride..."!
But my most favourite scene ever involved Lindsay entire drugged-up monologue of "what if this was a dream, and it's not even our dream.... it's that dog's dream!"
