OK so theres 1 milligram of methadone in 1 milliliter of solution? OK so in your opinion he should taper down by 10 mgs of methadone per day? Like if he started at 100 mgs/day then he should be off in 10 days....1st day 100mgs, 2nd day 90mgs, 3rd day 70mgs, etc...?

I dont mean to hound you Skag. I havent done a taper on my own from methadone, never had the willpower. I just stayed high as long as I could. I just wanna hear it from someone who HAS done it.

Thanks to everyone who has commented, and gave me information. You have all been a big help.

Bluelight is absolutely a life saver and my greatest tool & resource.

I hope all of you (contributing members), realize how thankfull people like me are for all your advice and information.

I actually feel like a have a chance of getting clean, because of the responces I've gotten to my post.

I will try to keep you all posted on what is to come. Hopefully by posting my progress, it could benefit others from reading.

My next step is to find a local NA meeting or similar, and try and contact some clinics in my area to explore some treatment options.
