Seeing as Starmer is not prepared to get involved in any offensive strikes, to help the USA win the battle.

I had previously thought that Starmer's stance was pretty sensible, just defend our allies in the area, but no offensive attacks.

But I can see where Trump is coming from, it does seem very much like the rest of the world is just leaving it to the USA to sort the issue out. (Israel seems to have gone off on their own, more destructive tangent, the last I heard.)

Although the USA and Israel did start the problems in the strait with their attacks on Iran, and Iran has effectively closed the vital strait in retaliation.

Yeah the USA wanted to change the regime, but Iran was bound to play whatever cards it had to play.

It's pretty complicated really?

I'm no fan of Trump, but he gets shit done (rightly or wrongly)

You can't say that about any government we've had in living memory (except maybe Thatcher - and she was also a fuckin cunt).

I think that he's right by saying that we've relied upon America for our defense for far too long now.

"All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT. You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil! President DJT"

That was posted 3 hours ago, then 1 hour ago he posted this.........

Melania and I are pleased to announce that Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, will visit the United States for a Historic State Visit from April 27-30th, which will include a beautiful Banquet Dinner at the White House on the evening of April 28th. This momentous occasion will be even more special this year, as we commemorate the 250th Anniversary of our Great Country. I look forward to spending time with the King, whom I greatly respect. It will be TERRIFIC!

DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

I wonder how Trump thinks The King & Queen will be able to fly across The Atlantic Ocean if The UK has no Jet Fuel?
I know The Vikings used The Sun Stone to sail from Denmark & landed on St. John River in Maine but the King is used to First Class travel, I think being in some shady built, wooden boat that's tossed around by the waves causing people to vomit over the side for hours isn't upto his usual travel standards.

Yeah Starmer and his party have done nothing but make things worse domestically, since he came to power.

No surprise he's extremely unpopular.

And him and his party are who we have to rely on to negotiate their way through this mess in Iran. God Help Us.

Although to be fair, and so far, he seems to have been making better moves in foreign policy, as opposed to domestically, where he's been getting everything wrong, and made umpteen policy U-turns.

I do think his previous stance was the right one, but things have changed now.

Arguably what Trump is saying is fair enough, although it could also be argued that the USA and Israel have created this mess, and they now want to get out of there as quickly as possible, and to leave it to others to clean up the mess.

Even if Iran has been militarily destroyed as he claims.

I have to admire Trump in the way he speaks blunt & tells the truth in a way.
People have got so used to political figures telling lies or skipping over a question, they have so much Media training all MP's come across as total bullshit artists, when Trump came along & he swears, says about Mexican people eating cats & dogs, to cure Covid-19 you can inject yourself with Bleach & all the other stuff that seems a total breath of fresh air.

I'm no fan of his policy ideas BUT I have to admit it's good to see a real person in charge, with lines like this you cannot help but like the guy.

"Arianna Huffington is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision."
"I think apologizing's a great thing, but you have to be wrong. I will absolutely apologize, sometime in the hopefully distant future, if I'm ever wrong." (This is my Moto for Life too)

This will go down VERY WELL with The King I feel
""I love women. They've come into my life. They've gone out of my life. Even those who have exited somewhat ungracefully still have a place in my heart. I only have one regret in the women department -- that I never had the opportunity to court Lady Diana Spencer. I met her on a number of occasions." FFS WTF LMFAO ❤️‍🔥 ❤️‍🔥 💣💣🖤🖤

“I have black guys counting my money I hate it, Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that.”:oops::oops::oops:

I reckon Charlie will be vomiting profusely at the mere mention of Trumps name...
If the visit goes ahead, he'll have to pull out all of the charm, persuasion, flattery, etc that he can muster.

Trump's ego will love hosting King Charles, especially if he goes there with the UK in a weak position.

Charles can be charming, I've seen him, and the whole clout that Royalty carries, could have an effect.

Apparently Trump has been on his absolute best behaviour when he's visited The Royals over here, right down to how he's treated every member of staff, so he clearly has a high regard for the whole institution.

OMG it gets worse mate, I know that is hard to imagine but just wait a moment.........

" In a 2000 Howard Stern interview, Trump said of Diana: "She was really beautiful... I would have slept with her without hesitation".

In a 1997 Howard Stern interview, he joked that he would have made her take an HIV test before any romantic encounter.

According to journalist Selina Scott, Trump pursued Diana after her 1996 divorce and "bombarded" her with flowers, leading to her telling friends that he gave her "the creeps"

"In 2000, Trump spoke about Princess Diana again, putting her in his list of 'women he's like to sleep with', saying that he would have slept with her 'without even hesitation,' adding, 'she was crazy, but those are minor details.'

I wouldn't mind, but she was a fuckin dog... :ROFLMAO:
And also a high risk she had HIV / Aids too.

The irony of the whole thing when you take into account all the work she did in Africa to stop HIV / Aids & Trump goes on to say that!!!!!!!!
I can see her & Trump totally out of their minds smoking Nyaope in the penthouse apartment of his Hotel, they would make John McAfee look like an amatuer.

If Iran was smart they woulda destroyed all the industry in the middle east and made nukes a while ago. They have a bunch incompetent leaders and Mossad agents like Russia.

Are you assuming that he is making decisions?
He's just a PR spokesperson for the groups in the background who make the decisions. That's the case with most of the politicians in UK, US, Canada, Australia, NZ and most of Europe (except Poland).

Misinterpreting a PR spokesperson as the head of a company is a bit daft but most people do it. It's a common point of confusion. Everyone knows that a PR person doesn't direct the company.

Aside: Poland has zero uncontrolled migration but ironically more work visas for foreigners than all other EU countries over the past ~4 years (this video shows why Poland is a good example).
