stuff i did like during the finale... lafayette's hallucinations were cool. he cracked me up when he was breakin down on the phone with his man then after he hung up, played it off like "everything straight, im cool"

witches now ? ughhh.

most def don't hate HBO, either. and like ocean I am have difficult finding True Blood's season finale for some reason. can anybody else point me in the right direction?

I thought that part with Lafayette was funny when Jesus confides his witchcraft- "Ok you a witch who's a nurse who's a dude" ::big hugs::

Plus when Jason tries to rescue Crystal unsuccessfully. I hope she's gone for good. Then he's left there with those freaks but gets in trouble with the DEA for interference and that investigator is really pissed off . "Where's my luckies?" That was stupid. I don't think Jason's law enforcement career will last too long anyway.

I was glad to see Sam apologise to Terry. Then Terry starts blubbering about all the things he's grateful for...his armadillo! When Arlene goes right back to work, he's concerned asking her "Do you want to lose this baby?" and she says no but means Hell yes! Demon spawn, yet she can't abort it? Did I miss something in a previous episode? I didn't see all of them.

I knew they wouldn't let Eric die and he came back to demand his cell phone from Bill. I think that was the best moment. And Pam going on about how she will never get all that cement from her hair. lolz

The unsuccessful vampire intervention for Hoyt cracked me up. Soon after Hoyt's mama is purchasing a shotgun. Strange when Hoyt and Jessica get their new place and there's that creepy doll on the floor.
What's with the chandelier?

I don't wanna start reading this thread cuz I'm only up to season two. But Sam Merlotte always reminds me of John Doe from X.

I was always fascinated by Sam Merlotte. in the last season, they do an interesting job with his backstory.

however, I think that they really missed out on a lot of good opportunities with the last season. the werewolves were a sad side story, the vampire King (Queen) of Mississippi ended up impotent and a non-factor, and they had some last minute ridiculous character changes.

I really hope they improve on the next season. as much as I like TB, if it goes nowhere quick I think I might abandon it :( I can think of one hundred different more interesting conclusions to the latest season. Sookie turns out to be something so comical. Lafayette is one of my faves... but really? santeria and voodoo?

I became addicted to this show because of the sex, drugs, and violence. the second that became an afterthought is subsequently when the show become an afterthought in my mind.

I'm just thinking... when will they run out of supernatural satires?

Can you please stop saying what I am always thinking? You are an Ohio State fan and I need to hate you. You are making it very difficult. ;)

The dialogue on this show just pisses me off constantly. Soookie gets so goddamn corny. Somehow I feel that this show is still good enough to continue watching, and I'm always sure to watch every episode the night it comes on. Please don't let them fuck up the Lafayette character. He is the coolest motherfucker on the show. One of the few on the show that does not fall into some kind of stereotype.

Agree with everybody that Eric is my favorite character. He is intriguing, and I too hope that Sookie ends up with him (although that might fuck up the real life marriage between Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, considering there will be a lot of make out sessions with a much better looking dude.) The actor who plays him (Skarsgard) was outstanding in Generation Kill as well.

Lol - Vampires are historically a bit gay tbh - very ambiguous about their sexuality - they're all primal, and about dominance, really.

Ocean I got you a link for True Blood I can give you in a day or 2 - waiting to watch a season again?? Nahhh - stream it.

THere seem to be loads of blogs devoted to True Blood, but this one website was the one I used from Season 1 to 3.

Never knew this was a series of books before - Might have to look em up.

I LOVED this programme - was totally hooked, it was hot in all kinds of ways... I Don't watch much TV at all - drains your brain - but this was sexual, dangerous, funny, seductive, and just quality watching material.

losty, the first couple of seasons were nice and novel. the third season i enjoyed the most, and now i eagerly look forward to the next.
