One of mates asked me how it went and I summed it up in one word... Spiritual.

It should be at the top of every paperface's holiday adventure list.

You wanna-be hippie types are always over-mythologizing nature experiences for psychedelics. It's not the be-all-and-end-all for psychedelic experiences! They can be great of course, but so can a cozy chair and a darkened living room... or a movie theater.

Movies can be phenomenally outstanding and very fulfilling fun on acid. I've done that MANY times and it's been just wonderful. It's not like you can't do both!

I might even also say Totally_Dark_Room_With_ Open_Eyes_Plus_Music > Nature.

So you prefer nature over movies while tripping. So what. Still your post has nothing to do with the topic of seeing this movie on LSD and what it may_be/was like. Oh well whatever.

I know I am totally stoked for going to see this in 3D IMAX tripping my brains out. Can't wait!!!

Besides... nature right now here is REALLY frigid... and about to be pouring rain... then frigid again... wet and shivering does NOT sound like a good time while tripping if you ask me!

^ Dunno if I would be feeding LSD to some escort I didnt know. Hope that's not what you're planning. What if she freaks out and calls the cops or just attracts attention, and they find the vial on you or search your car or house and find it?

Vials of LSD + Illegal Prostitutes + Public Tripping = disaster waiting to happen I should think.

CERTAINLY don't let her know you have an entire vial. What if she tells someone like her pimp who tells some thugs who decide to come pop you and steal it, or freaks out and spills the beans to some pig "Officer! Officer! Help! Help! He gave me this stuff and when I looked in the mirror after the movie my face looks like a monster, oh my god, bwahhh!!!" Holy crap, bad idea!
 
Hey mayn don't gotta be so hostile & shit.

Watching TV or movies while coming down is really nice, as the emotional aspect of psychs allows for me to get much more pulled into it.

However, I'm not the kinda person who likes to drop a whole shitload of LSD, maybe 2-3 times a year, and as such I like to get the most out of those experiences. Movies aren't very conducive to that end for me.
 
dam thatd probably be insane. and i dont even really equate LSD with nature, maybe shrooms, but LSD is a synthetic chemical, if it wasnt for the 60s i doubt people would even think of acid as this hippie-natury drug. and this is coming from somebody who loves 60s culture, music, etc...
 
I don't think of it as a 'hippie-naturey' drug (that's def mushrooms). Why all hate on hippies anyway? Geez.

LSD is quite cool in how much more 'our generation' it is...as in being able to trip and look at computer screens and the such and it still looking cool. It's just that my first acid trip was at the beach, and the next one was inside...

No comparison.


Besides, you ever trying going on a hike with a head full of shrooms? It ain't easy.
 
I went stoned and was glad actually it didn't get very intense for awhile cause the grid can mess with you. You may actually just get lost.
But I suppose thats ok cause you can watch it again when its out on DVD.
But its a AWESOME movie in general.

o, i dont hate on hippies at all. on mushrooms or acid i listen to stuff like the grateful dead, 13th floor elevators, etc. i love hippie culture and shit. but by doing acid, ive realized it really isnt a nature drug, and is just thought of as so because of the 60s. ive always wondered if MDMA had been the drug of choice in the 60s instead of LSD, if it would be thought of as a nature/hippie drug instead of a club drug.
 
I watched it sober, I personally feel if I watched it on a psychedelic it would be hard on the eyes to watch.
 
What psychedelic isn't a nature drug? Why is LSD not one in your opinion? What is it's 'true purpose' then? Where is LSD better than in nature? I feel as if the plants are singing to me they're so damn beautiful when I'm on acid.

MDMA is amazing to do on a hike as well. Raves are cool and all...but nothing beats the beauty of open landscape.
 
its all a matter of opinion, but LSD doesnt give me the connect to nature feeling shrooms do. i get a really synthetic, electrical feeling from it, which is why i love it and it is my favorite drug. maybe you are just more of a nature person in general than i am...
 
I went to see it on the first night it came out in Britain but all I could get for it was a strain of weed called Colombian Red. Still had a blast though, I'd never been so high on weed. Acid could go one of two ways though, I watched the original one on shrooms and it fucked with me a bit. If you're planning on going go while it's in the cinema, the 3D is just fucking mind-boggling when you're high :)
