Tron Legacy on acid

to me, tron just didnt have enough significance in its themes to be anything other than eye candy of acid

seriously man go watch a movie like "waltz with bashir" on acid and then tell me what you think. honestly, just do that for me and send me a pm. it might be a difficult trip but it would be one hell of a powerful emotional insightful powerful experience
 
Went to see Tron last night on an aMT/MXE combo (low dose) - Brilliant, really enjoyed it - this despite hearing poor reports of it before hand. My wife, who don't do drugs!!, found it interesting, the level of concentration I showed for the entire 2 hours+.... :) I was sooo into it.
going to watch it in 3D next week, happy new year y'all xx

that debate is non-Tron related and could be its own thread, sorry to be frank but I only want to talk about Tron (and only Tron... forever).

Nah dude! I felt it was making a metaphysical/cosmological comment on the origin of the universe, the existence of life. My gf felt it was subtlety pro-Judeo-Christian as in, Flynn is the creator/higher power and the programmes are us, I feel however that several other points in the story undermine her logic.

I've seen it twice now and I'm going to see at IMAX next week. It's gotta become an acid cult classic, up there with the matrix.

tron is one of the best movies visually ive ever seen, but there were so many lackluster details in trons plot that it could never be compared to something as great as the matrix,

like if the journey to the portal was so dangerouse and they couldnt do it from the get go then why was there a train that led right to it? they also never went into much explanation as to why the iso's were so important. it was your trypical action movie really. main character has a bunch of cheezy lines, plot and story never really went anywhere thought provoking like the matrix did.


dont get me wrong, man I enjoyed tron and would spend money to see it again. but its far from a philisophical or cerebral movie. just really fucking visually cool.

^^^ daft punk did a really good job with the soundtrack actually. fits the movie perfectly

tron is no matrix. while one will be remembered as a cult classic for years to come as it practically singlehandedly revigorated an entire genre in a visually stunning way coupled with a very good story, tron has such a poor script with some horrid dialogues it is the classic example of money being thrown at a project just to get problems solved. sure, it looks good, but the next big bucks action movie shot in 3d will be better and people will forget.
 
I like to watch a movie series prior to shrooming since I can then pretend the world is like the one I watched when we go hiking/exploring. Me and some friends did that for Harry Potter, LotR and some other cool series. I love doing it that way and it works really well, after a while it can get so real you stop pretending ha.
 
hahah I have been considering Tron 3D on a moderate dose of mushrooms( albino penis envy!) or some acid have I been saving....can't decide which one but I' leaning toward albino PE just because they are very nice visual and body, smooth and I think it would be easier to sit for 2+ hours on them....I've been loving them lately!!!!
 
I was actually going to see this movie on AMT but my gf didn't want us having to walk home in the dark through our neighborhood so we just went stoned on NYE. Been a while since I've even been high in public so I dunno if I'd be ok to be dealing with people .. not so much tripping, but knowing I have huge pupils.
I actually jumped during the movie once, never saw an actual film in 3D before (just a couple times at theme parks) Still, I didn't find the film to benefit all too much from the 3D.. some of the trailers looked like they used it better, like Pirates.

I wouldn't wanna turn out like this guy though tripping at the theatre

LSD is semi synthetic. Not totally synthetic. It is derived from the combination of lysergic acid (which is extracted through various processes from FUNGI) and diethylamine.

And people shouldn't think of any drug as anything other than its effects...hippie-natury isn't an effect of LSD.
