as far as you know...
/doping isn't more/less prevalent in team v solo sports. i acknowledge some validity to your 'team mentality' reasoning but the reality is that it's got shit to do w/ "teams" and all to do with things like personal gain (monetary and athletic), 'being the best you can be', etc.
//"more of an individual" sport? this is an aspect i'm unaware of- didn't know of team-triathlon, and my understanding of triathlon in the olympics is obvioulsy lacking (always figured it'd be an individual affair- have never heard of it in any other context)
///if you're going to use words like "cheat", or "clean", i'm going to assume you're probably ignorant to such topics. since this thread is both dead, and originated by me, i'd LUV to hear how you/anyone thinks, say, someone like lance cheated. aside from 'irrelevancies' like "he's the sport's figurehead/pioneer", the truth is that he submitted to his tests, adn passed said tests- so much is not in dispute. the allegations are, what, that he "doped"(whatever the fuck that is) by using chemicals that your guidelines didn't specify, and your tests could not identify?
[edit: sorry, it's just that i heard, this morn, that lance is gonna "admit" to the allegations. this could be a true "fall from grace", if i've ever seen one
