I took celexa for a long time, but not as nearly as high of a dosage, and have been taking benzos for a while, ambien doesn't work for me. Celexa and trazodone both have SSRI properties, and can cause serotonin syndrome. Trazodone is actually an SARI, but it also plays around with serotonin. I'm not sure why your doctor would prescribe you both at once, knowing that. Trazodone is either used as an anti-depressant but more often as a sleeping medication, so maybe someone with a bit more drug knowledge will drop in here. I never took trazodone while on an SSRI, so I only know there is an increase in the possibility of serotonin syndrome, and 80mg of citalopram is a pretty high dosage.
EDIT: Also, please give your threads more specific titles in the future, I'm going to change this so people have more of an idea of what your question is about.
