what up pimps. i was partying in stephanville texas last night with sarah and claudia and had a great time. we are in roswell new mexico right now on our way up to las vegas. hopefully we get there tonight sometime but its about a 20 hour drive. we'll see. anybody on the way wanna party hit me up. we will prolly end up crashing in albequerque tonight and party there.

wassup my niggas!!! :D we are in las vegas now chillin. we will prolly get a room on the strip and see what kind of wicked shit we can get into. but not being familiar with the city can make things more difficult. i am at the library right now on flamingo, but we are going to find a place to stay when we leave here. it looks pimp out there on the strip and shit so i know it will be off the hook tonight. if any playa's in L.V. wanna party tonight(that goes for you too psychoblast) then holla at me on my celly at *** *** ****. show me where the real shit goes down 8)
the drive through new mexico and arizona was wild and at least we got to the hoover dam after sun up so we could check that out. we went past the G. canyon and will prolly head out towards Cali this week sometime depending on the action and money permitting. the roads through arizona at night are a little stressful at 75 and 80 miles an hour down some winding ass crazy shit. but we made it. texas roads suck ass toward el paso but right when you hit N.M. they get 100% better. hopefully the roads through barstow and baker on to victorville are cool.

Well, I spoke to Josh a couple times last night, but eventually flaked on meeting him. In my defense, a girl was involved.
However, if this journey ever gets wings to Australia, I might but up for jumping on the bandwagon.

p.s. Some thoughts on this journal as a literary exercise:
No disrespect intended, but I think this journaling could benefit from more philosophical angst, you know the "how does this show me the meaning of life?" type ponderings. It appears the current crew has already reached their conclusion on this point (something like, life is short and filled with pain and pleasure, so get drunk or high and have fun as much as possible.)
Whether they are correct or not, a story where the protaganist searches for and perhaps achieves for himself this answer, is much superior IMO to one where the protaganist is merely engaging in actions that are based on his answer arrived at before we even join the story.
But if these adventurers actually come to some significant paradigm shift from this journey -- and can reduce it to words -- then that is the kind of writing that would be reminiscent of On the Road or Fear and Loathing.
I guess my point is that Josh sounds more like "Dean" than "Sal" from On the Road, and I wonder if that would work, from a literary perspective (whereas I imagine that I would probably behave and chronical more like Sal in such situations).
Oh, this story also needs more sex.
