Social Justice Transgender and gender identity discussion

I’m regretting a few of my earlier posts in this thread. the more i think about it, the more I think people should be left to express themselves as they wish so long as they don’t do it in a way that negatively impacts the major and most important norms of the community. Given how much time I’ve spent in the company of trans women when blasted on meth, I think my problem is with trans activists who want to tear down the prevailing social order rather than your average trans person who would be happy if that order just stopped demeaning, harassing, or committing violence against them. We’ve all got to give a little and let minorities take a little. it doesn’t cost us much really in the grand scheme of things.

tl;dw:
Having a single spokesperson for any group of people is a dangerous mindset and an easy one to get into especially if you aren't part of the group to begin with. It's important to have several people of that particular identity as a source for information in order to overcome common pitfalls associated with bigotry.

I doubt a huge percentage of any perceived majority group would give a shit that much about whatever the minority groups differences are, sometimes it's just a perception that one group feels some way about another,

shit got out of hand about the toilet situation, who fucking cares, no one's there to check each other out just do your business and get out.

To the political leaders who work to criminalize trans health care and deny our right to exist and to all of those with a massive platform who continue to spew hostility towards the trans community; you have blood on your hands...Enough is enough. You aren't being "cancelled," you are hurting people.

If the question doesn't apply to you, don't take it personally. It doesn't mean it's a loaded question in a conspiracy to trick you. This applies to all questions, really.

The question comes from personal experience. I got slightly triggered one time and quickly got over it but was hoping someone else might have had a nurse or doc ask them about personal pronouns and such.

My question is, is there a theme or trend, correlation.. whatever, amongst transgenders of low self esteem?

Can we get things back on track guys, pretty please.

As you worded your question, the only two themes would be being born the wrong gender and suffering from low self esteem due to society's incapacity to accept them for who they are.

Maybe it means something. But you are right though, it was bad example.

It all started in a psychosis (so it might warp things up), I guess the toxic masculinity which I grew up to has been a big issue for me and I need to get rid of it.
