Social Justice Transgender and gender identity discussion

Changing Santa to be gender neutral is indeed stupid. But stupider is that we're talking about it.

If someone says something stupid on Facebook (it happens), block em, ignore it.

I just hate Facebook :p
Plus I have a negative reaction when I feel like I'm being manipulated. Which I get a sense of whenever a news article is telling me I should be outraged over someone i'll never meet saying something stupid to someone else I'll never meet on Facebook.

In fact this is what I hate about Facebook, it tries to make everything everyone's business.

Not to knock women, but Daniel Craig will be HARD to follow. He's handsome, an amazing actor. Very Bond.

Roger Moore sucked. He could have been a woman for all I care.

I don't care what gender any actor is but if they're not a good actor, then I won't enjoy their acting. So here's to hoping Jasmine Bond is half decent :unsure:

This IS a good question. James Bond has always been a male sex symbol. I mean how many women out there wish Pierce Brosnan was a woman instead of... well, Pierce Brosnan? Hell if I were a chick I'd swoon over him, and Craig. Really all they're doing by making Bond a woman is creating something for men to ogle, not women... so is that the opposite of feminism?

Are we now due Charilze's Angels? An all male team of spy assassins led by a woman?

Honestly, I've always been surprised there isn't any 008 or 009 characters spun off. I get the fact that in today's world Hollyweird has to assert it's agenda (see the woman-power shot in Endgame), and this could easily (HA! Will most DEFINITELY) get twisted to that agenda. But on it's own, done as a true to Flemming style, I think it'd be cool. Then again, we've had some of that

I mean, the genre for kick ass spy women is already done. It just hasn't been done with the polish of Bond.

You probably would be outraged if everyone started calling you pussypussflaps instead of nuttynutskin.

The privileged don't have to deal with these kinds of problems on a daily basis like many trans people do.

If insisting on being called a special pronoun isn't privilege idk what is. Why don't I get a fancy name for my gender?

No I'm not. He/him/man sounds stale and boring compared to a lot of the fancy terms I've seen.

I'm fine with gays being called gays, trannies being called trannies, etc. It's some of the other self-entitled terms I was going after.

seems like you have an issue with the concept of trans people themselves, not just the more "uncommon non-binary identities".

i say that because "trannies" is considered derogatory and has been for at least a decade
