Opioids Tramadol?

Tramadol gets me itchy and feeling nice and warm when I take at least 300mg's but it doesn't really give the euphoria of traditional opiates. I'm pretty opiate-tolerant though and have been on Suboxone for several years so I don't recommend that you take 300mg's at once like I would. The thing I really like about Tramadol is you can take it with Suboxone and when I mix 300-400 mg's of Tramadol with Suboxone I get a nice little itchy high which I wouldn't get from Suboxone alone.

I'm the one that enjoy tramadol very much, the onset is quite speedy then 2 hours later I get the opioid buzz which is pretty nice, I admitted that I enjoy tram a little more than codeine lol but dont take tram on a daily basis other you'll get hook up on it and feel like you cant go on with your day w/o taking the tram, it's okay to take it one or twice a week though.

It is a really weird pharm to say the least.
Get this right?

2500 mg Gabapentin @ 00:00
+ 50 mg Tram @ +t 03:00
Causes Gabi to kick in hard at +t 03:45
+ 100 mg Tram @ +t 04:00 & 05:00
Creates moderate euphoria & serene, happy state of mind & strong relaxation, content with laying in bed

Lasted for a total of roughly 18 hours, except the euphoria which only lasted maybe two hours.
Slow onset but very pronounced and powerful effects.
Very enjoyable experience, not necessarily glowing, but interesting and enjoyable.

Hope this helps.

I would throw out the tramadol. If I wasn't addicted to hydrocodone I would have no use for it (it helps a little to curve some of the withdrawal from opiates). Absolutely no recreational value unless you find someone that has a different meaning for "recreational". Builds up in your system and overuse can lead to serotonin syndrome, that's when everything seems fucked up.

That's just it, every one has a different perception on recreational. Also, everyone's body reacts differently. I personally find a recreational value in it, meaning it has a potential for abuse. It's not exactly euphoric, but it's effects aren't placebo either.

It's [the high] so subtle betweeen placebo and euphoric that it just isn't worth it, for me. Call it fustration in part because I'd gladly trade my vicodin addiction for an ultram one for the sheer fact it's easier to score them over vikes or percs. However, you're right about "your milage may vary."

It's no coincidence most people who have something good to say about recreational use of Tramadol are also using marijuana at the same time. I don't like Tramadol but I use weed with it to help ease some of the side effects of Tramadol instead of enhance it. But I think that can be said of many drugs with weed :)

Tosh.Suku, just because this drug doesn't work for you, doesn't mean they're useless. Your liver doesn't convert enough of tramadol (pretty much a pro-drug) to O-Desmethyltramadol, so you won't get much out of it. To me, 50mg tramadol is stronger than 10mg hydrocodone (Norco 10/325). I think I have multiple copies of my CYP2D6 allele, aka CYP2D6 polymorphism. The more metabolizing your CYP2D6 does, the more O-Desmethyltramadol is produced by your liver.

Tramadol is extremely subjective, since it is essentially a pro-drug to O-Desmethyltramadol.

Thanks for all the responses. I ended up giving it a 2nd shot last night, but sadly I got no effect out of it. So I guess these pills aren't for me. I'm gonna toss the rest out and order some Kratom tomorrow. =D
