I'm not sure if this is the right place to come for help, but I am not really sure who to ask. I have tried my Doctor (who is very good) but this seems to be outside of his area of expertise.
I have a bad back and do many things to help but the thing that helps the most is to take both Codeine and Tramadol (so 60mg codeine and 50mg Tramadol) dineat the same time. Tramadol particularly works brilliantly for the pain but with the combination, I can have a completely normal life. Maybe even better than normal, as I have more energy and feel great.
The problem is that after taking it, I can't have sex for about 48 hours. I can deal with the other side effects (nausea), but that one pretty much is as bad as dealing with pain itself.
The only drugs I know of to help this problem (Viagra/Cialis) are prohibitively expensive in my country and not covered by insurance and/or government health care. Thus are prohibitively expensive.
Has anyone else experienced these sorts of problems and/or able to give me any advice?
