Top 5 Finalists in the Bluelight.nu DJ competition!!!

thanks guys...My whole intention was to throw a bunch of different styles of dnb in there but still have it flow from track to track instead of just changing it up suddenly.. I'm not too satisfied with my mix, I think it could have been much better but I didnt' want to take any longer and keep everybody waiting. I felt like an ass allready cause I promised hydra I would have it by tuesday which was allready 1 week and 2 days past the planned deadline.. I have so little time now that I started this new job, its hard for me to keep up with this, but I'm doing my best, and I dont plan on giving it up.

Anyway, I'm burning all of these mixes on cd and I'm gonna listen to them all the way through, I would love to check out what you guys cooked up for this... I'm actually listening to allans right now.. about 10 min into.. sounds really good so far.. hehe.. I haven't gotten a chance to get to all of them yet, but I will definitely get at you guys with some detailed feedback about what I think.

Good luck to you all, :) ... Even if I dont win... this was fun, and I'm glad I made it into the top 5 at least. That was a surprise all in itself, the other mixes were really good..
 
i hope the people's choice vote is very close. All the mixes were vary good. I think the house head vote will be greatly divided with a house mix by me and lobster, well as the dope progr mixes by allan and 3rd space. heres to everyone doing a good damn job *chugs a beer*
 
i have two questions (sorry if they've been answered here somewhere and i didn't notice)

one: What day is the poll going to be ended?

two: Does the poll count as a vote in the final decision? or is it just a guide for the judges or perhaps a tiebreaker?
 
it's open until friday, and apparently the poll is just to see who the bluelighters like, but the judges still decide who they think is best. good thing too, because I'm getting ripped a new one in the poll... 8)

right there with ya....looks like the bluelighters are running a 2 horse race for now. here's something interesting, how often is it that the favorite horse actually wins? hehehe just a bit of compition banter.....
 
i agree it can be a popularity contest. I think the judges will choose the best mix, though a tough job. i Throroughly enjoyed each of you guys mixes
 
Yea.. the poll is extremely biased and we all know it. I'm willing to bet that 90% of the voters heard only 1 or 2 mixes if even. Hopefully it wont affect the descision of the judges...
 
so after the poll closes, when will we know who is grand master of the bluelight dj universe?
 
the poll is just for fun, the final say belongs to the guys running this competition :) but you are all still winners regaurdless, the winner (final) will be posted at the top of the forum in a link all its own with info about this guy, way to book him, etc, he's our bluelight DJ poster boy so he better be fucking good ;)
