I donno man, I've seen Designer Drugs open for a bunch of people (deadmau5, flux pavilion, doctor p, a show on their own at lincoln hall etc) and they're not very good IMO. I love A-trak though! One of my favorite DJ's to watch live. Mostly all of his good songs are remixes, but they're awesome. I agree on Justice too.

The people that said Deadmau5 must have not been listening to what he has put out this year so far... that 4x4 garbage.. jeez.

I don't know. in no specific order I would have to say...

and I'm gonna go ahead and throw SKREAM in the mix. Hands down my favorite dubstep producer. I wish more people in America would listen to him and give him the respect he deserves.

I would also love to put in Underworld and The Prodigy but I guess its only 5. :( It took me almost a half hour of listing and erasing names to come up with this list.. lol Goodnight guys.

Designer Drugs has been hit or miss. At Ultra they weren't very good, but when they come to DC and play in a small venue they're amazing. They have great remixes, and when they stick to that, the show is good.

I was going to write you off for saying Deadmau5, but your follow up statement was spot on how I feel. The meth has gotten to him. Everyone knows this. His music sucks now. He's arrogant and cruel to fans. I wouldn't give him my money, and I don't bother listening to his music anymore.

Bassnectar is, for me, more of a performer than a producer. I don't care for him on my computer, but at a live set he is godly.

I would have liked to add in Bloody Beetroots. I had been loving their songs with Aoki for a while, but I finally got to see them live at Ezoo and was floored. They put on one of the best live sets I have ever seen. Makes me wish I wasn't rolling so hard during their time slot at EDC Vegas. I was kind of frozen at the Plastikman set.
 
I've been jammin' to Calvertron recently man! That's some good shit. Skrillex though really? Porter Robinson is definitely a current favorite of mine. Cannot wait to see him rock Logan Sq Auditorium in November.
 
Yea calvertron had a huge couple of months in june & july, im guna play alot of his tunes in a few weeks here.
I think skrillex is definatly a very talented producer. His tunes have a theatrical vibe goin on to me. And hes inspired alot of others you can tell by listening for instance zomboy. Everyone loves zomboy who sounds like skrillex but makes filthy more "on drugs" vibe. Also skrillex makes tunes that people can be introduced to genres with and people willl like it for a specific reason and then search out other artists who focus on that sound leading to a chain process leading them to be more into genres like dubstep & electro.
If u like porter u should like alex kidd? Hes dope too
 
Not sure I see the comparison between Alex Kidd and Porter Robinson. Alex Kidd always struck me as a hardstyle producer.

Skream is a great producer, Headhunterz too but I don't like his style that much anymore.

Skrillex is an amazing producer, I love his songs but I'd never in my life pay to see him live, he has absolutely no DJ skills whatsoever. Who wants to pay $25 to see a guy press play on his Macbook? I don't.
