Took LSD + Seroquel, slightly worried

Hey guys,

I took one hit of LSD and followed it up with 25MG of seroquel an hour later. It was to abort the trip. Then a bit later on with some more reading through the forums, i came across people talking about "Neuroleptic malignant syndrome"

I dont have muscle rigidity or a fever or anything, but what are the actual chances of something real bad happening within the next few hours to days?
 
basically is this something i really have to be concerned about? Keep in mind i took the seroquel right when the trip started, NOT at the tail end of it.
 
Out of all the reasons of why I'd have to abort (and I've never had to abort a trip out of the dozens i've been on), you won't believe the circumstances.

A fucking april fool's joke call that basically placed me in a situation where I had to sober up ASAP.

Even funnier, none of them really know that I even trip.
 
So yeah right when the trip is coming up, I go pop a seroquel for the intent of bringing me down. Then i do some reading up where people say it's really bad for you if you take LSD + Seroquel
 
But if i was actually having a case of neuroleptic malignant syndrome, I don't think I'd be able to calmly sit here and write on the forum, correct?
 
I guess I ended up having a panic attack after I read about that shit. Basically I felt like i was very indecisive about things but very excited at the same time. I feel calmer now though.
 
Well, if anyone is curious about the effects of seroquel on an lsd trip coming up... it basically makes the whole trip feel emotionally very flat, visuals are still there but going away fast, and i dont feel "psychedelic thoughts"... my logical and personal state of mind is very close to as if i was sober. Other than that, feeling very alert and awake.
 
Anyways, it's been 3 hours since i took LSD and 2 since i took seroquel. I'm assuming that if anything really bad were to happen, it would have happened by now?
 
I guess my main question is that... can the fact of taking seroquel on lsd cause acute neuroleptic malignant disorder due to acute interactions?
 
sounds like youll be okay. however, i know absolutely nothing about neuroleptic malignant disorder.

my friend took a 25mg seroquel I gave him to end an acid trip a few weeks ago, but that was like hour 10. he was fine, it helped him sleep. I think it's a rare side effect that is unpredictable as hell and not very common at all
 
The chance of NMS is close to nil.

25 mg of Seroquel is not even close to an antipsychotic dose anyway. The pharmacology is essentially equivalent to taking a couple Tylenol PMs or dramamine sleeping pills. Seroquel is simply a strong antihistamine at low doses.
 
I took a 300MG pill of seroquel 7 hours into my trip (pretty much done, mild distortions) and it just made me very sleepy. 25mg isnt a big deal, buttheres a risk of something when mixing any drug. bodies react differently to chemicals
