That I still have like 3 or 4 true friends left. Actually pretty hard to believe, but Im happy and thankful of it. I dont usually give a shit about other people, but for those people, I truly wish the best for them and will support and listen them better in future.

I'm thankful (and amused) that my big ol' pitbull Dixie Chick is snoring loudly in my bed right now. I enjoy watching her sleep almost as much as I enjoy sleep itself.

Well, Ive done bupre again for 4 days now and used 3 times less per day than I was before. I think this is tolerable atleast for an time.

I was at the gas station, paying for six bucks of gas in quarters, and this awesome fellow offered to give me the five bucks in his pocket.

I'm thankful for the incredible ability to heal.

The big picture is that I'm even alive and relatively healthy&sane after decades of severe drug&alcohol abuse, including some close calls with ODs and horrible WDs/DTs.

At the moment I am extremely grateful that, 5 days after having a tooth pulled, I can eat crunchy foods again. Yay!

Mother Nature is fucking amazing.

Im thankful for my sobriety, my family who forgives me and never gave up on me, to be out of placements, to be mentally healthier than i have been in years, to be an adult, to have a job, and to be in college.
