Today I am thankful for... ver. 2: thankful for all the darksiders!

Today I am thankful for picking up an extra 8 hour shift, and an extra 10 hour shift tomorrow. And thankful that I'm going to be able to pay back my family a little bit sooner than anticipated.

Not thankful for the fact that I woke up 6 minutes after I was supposed to be at work, especially not thankful for the fact that i launched my phone across the length of the upstairs during the initial realization that I was, in fact, late.

Thankful for my brother being home and playing guitar in the chair next to me, thankful for my mom finally getting home from work and sitting down to eat.

I'm thankful for a good day. :) There's really not one thing bad I can say about today, which doesn't happen a lot. I'm also thankful that I was able to step back and appreciate this.
 
^thats right my friend. Im thankful for everyday that i wake up and not "come to". That i can rest assured my life wont be as hectic as it was before i got clean. There are no bad days, only learning days. Everydays a blessin or a lesson.
 
Another day and Im still here I hear that.

Oh and its on baby. Theres 2 technics m3ds, a pioneer 600 and a serato box in my house right now. Lol zhea. Just got here today ya know we don't play.

I am thankful for another day sober as well, today is 70 days free from the chains of opiate addiction. I am also thankful for the lessons i have learned along the way. Alot were hard and some were horrifying but because of them i feel as tho i can trump any challenge life throws my way. I know there will be times that i will feel that i cant but for right now, in this moment i can conquer the world.... Basically what im saying is... Im a fuckin boss lol
 
Today I am thankful for good friends and family who are always there for you no matter what. I'm also happy to see this thread still going. I actually started the first version of this thread and it's awesome to see that it has come this far :)

Thankful for another day clean and to be alive still. Im thankful for TDS and all the love that flows through here. Time to shower and head to NA

I was surprised when the thread went so far as to reach 1000 posts then being restarted all over again. I know this forum could benefit from such a thread. :)
