I agree with spiritual, mental, and physical health. NA keeps my spirit healthy, school and education keeps my mind healthy, and strength training for my body. I regard it as "the trinity of complete health". all three parts work in tandem and if one is lacking, it can show in the other aspects. when I feel happy and serene, my lifts are better. when I'm lifting well and serene I am happy, when I am happy and lifting well, I am serene.
also for me lifting can be spiritual and like a form of meditation. it allows me release into something else, and allows me to center myself, focusing on every muscle as it extends or contracts. I incorporate posing (bodybuilding poses) in the lifting category. looking in the mirror and mastering the ability to flex each individual group of muscles is very relaxing and rewarding.
