I lied if I take .5 I nod for 12 hours
So wait 45 minutes before taking benziA quick look at wikipedia says cimetidine is fully absorbed in around 45 min but can take up to 2hr.
For the enzyme inhibition to have full effect you would want your cimetidine to be well absorbed so waiting a bit longer than 20min would be optimal.
However as long as you give the cimetidine a headstart it would continue to inhibit the enzymes, I just think if you wait for it to be more fully absorbed you would get abetter inhibition.
I was recently prescribed fluconazole which is also a strong inhibitor of the same enzymes and I thought I would experiment with my diazepam.
I took the fluconazole about 30min before taking 20mg of diazepam and after about an hour I was nodding pretty hard which 20mg of diazepam would normally not do for me.
I am also on methadone though which also is affected by inhibition of those same enzymes so probably it was a double wammy.
Yeah man that's what I would do.So wait 45 minutes before taking benzi
I'm thinking of experimenting with one hour and go from thereYeah man that's what I would do.
What about 2 hours.Yeah man that's what I would do.
Well I would think that would be about perfect. What about 2 hours.
Yeh I have noticed a similar thing man and as you said it's pretty much the same with every substance.Off topic.
I used to cane benzos years ago doses up to 20mg and sometimes 22 25mg.
They made me anxious free I could to anyone I was flying....now they just make me depressed![]()
not talkative....blunt....
I don't know what I'm askin
Why is this i spose?
Have I damaged my gaba receptors?
That's the same with every drug i guess
Have I damaged my gaba receptors?
Tried roughly 2 hours didn't notice any difference. Think ill just stick with 45Well I would think that would be about perfect.
You just need to know, how long it takes for your inhibitor to be fully, or at least mostly absorbed.
Then know how long that particular inhibitor is active in your body and then don't over think it.
About two hours seems like it would be pretty much on the money.
Can you please post the Wikipedia page of cimetidine?A quick look at wikipedia says cimetidine is fully absorbed in around 45 min but can take up to 2hr.

Haha im stuffed then. Gonna need a long break.long long long brealwith a break they should recove
Here you go man.Can you please post the Wikipedia page of cimetidine?
I must of missed it somewhere cos it says onset of duration 30 minutes
You must be referring to the quote near the begining of the pharmacokinetics section.I must of missed it somewhere cos it says onset of duration 30 minutes
@placebonaut...unfortunately I cannot read the pic you posted listing the various nootropics you are considering as I am totally blind and use a screen reader to navigate the net and it doesn't always give me all the info on a page...
I have tried L-theanine, magnesium glycinate and back when it was still around, phenibut, none of which made any real difference.
I will definitely agree though, that pregabalin can make a difference, however sometimes I get what would certainly be described as potentiation, and sometimes it seems to actually take away from the benzo feeling of total relaxation that I desire.
I think it has to be dosed correctly for a given persons body weight and tolerance to pregabalin.
I see. Yes I do need a breakYou must be referring to the quote near the begining of the pharmacokinetics section.
It actually says...cimetadine is rapidly absorbed and it's onset of action is approximately 30 min with peak plasma levels reached in 1-3 hours.
So it's saying it will start working within 30 min but will take a bit longer to reach peak levels.
There's no need to overthink this...as long as you wait about 45 min after taking your cimetadine your golden.
I do think however that getting more out of your clonazepam in this manor is a bit of a dead end street.
What's really needed is a tolerence break....definitely not judging...just saying.
