This is not always true. I know a LOT about DJs and electronic music in general, particularly house but I like tiesto occasionally. Yes he is cheesy majority of the time...but that doesnt mean his skills suck.

ok fuck this, i'm explaining this for the last time.

i dont "hate on him" just for kicks. i've seen him live several times...he will screw up, completely wreck a mix, and all the while sit there smiling and acting like he is a god. THATS why i hate him. you screw up as a dj (at something you should be good at if you're making a 5-figure salary for a few hours of playing), and you should at least look a bit concerned. not mr.cheezyeurocrap

put some effort into it, or dont bother....

honestly though, does anyone really worship Tiesto anymore? I think he's just another DJ who was around at the right time.. when DJs were a new concept.

Tiesto is a pretty appalling Euro-Trance DJ but the thing that irks me are the hordes of followers he has worshipping his every move. He generic euro-trance.

I really don't understand the fuss made about him.
 
I've watched Tiesto during a set and he's a genius. He has great senses for a crowd. People pleasing is an art. What more can you ask for? He's been around since forever ...with lots of success. I'm not much of a mixing critic ..but the boy can bang a beat, no doubt. Hands down, he's a killer dj/producer. Not #1 but definately up there in the commercial world. We all have our favourites, he's one of mine. Hup Tiesto Hup!

He might be a 'killer' dj, but he doesn't even do his own producing. He employs people to do his production for him, and he looks over their shoulder.

tiesto is the best without any discussion.i bought his dvd and there re many excellent songs..u can find any kind of trip song, as u wish in the dvd..

try some progressive trance is lot better. tiesto is good 2-3 years ago now the only good songs he have is hes old songs most of his new songs aint that good
