I agree.

i can't imagine encoding your vinyl via a usb turntable would be great. you might as well download the tracks you want. Quicker too.

Otherwise, USB record decks make me queasy. Most of them seem to be cheap plastic turntables with a USB audio interface. If you want to encode vinyl to digital you would do so because of the perceived high quality of vinyl recordings. So you should rip them with a high quality, solid turntable, not a cheap plastic moulding.

I agree, think my brother just wanted a cheap way to play some old vinyl he'd bought at a car boot sale.

That was my point too. Ive got some rare stuff from 1985 - 1989 that John Peel played and is nowhere to be found online, so i cant listen to it. Its not really highly polished expensively produced stuff, but it would still be worth paying more for a better quality turntable.
 
I mean mixed like fukin made it so the BPM was the same n it sounded ok fukin 10 second transtion . LOL!

I would bring it in then about fuk about abit when it's in time n then do the same on the way out .

Id be interested to see where people are making their BL posts from. Here's my desk today, looks relatively ordered and clean, you should have seen the state of it (or perhaps not) when i was on meph/pv/opi/phenazepam/mxe runs. Couldnt have posted them without apparently incriminating myself. (It was all legal at the time Ofiicers, honestly)

Some people are OCD about desks, everything has to be just so. If something isnt perfectly aligned then woe betide them.

I don't object to the word 'quit'. It just makes it sound like you're physically addicted to the stuff, when I know from the timeframe that you can't possibly be.

Not that it necessarily makes it at all easy to give up or anything. There's just a difference.
 
Yeah, good point. I dont think i am addicted, i may feel a bit under the weather for a couple of days when i stop but that will be as bad as it gets, the main problem is dealing with the interminabally long days without having anything to make time fly by. I'm doing a bit of pre-planning to put things in place to deal more effectively with that problem this time round.
