Moderating? Moderating? Ridiculous. As of late, I've been a moderator in presence and name alone. Please identify a single post made by PiP or yourself that I've edited, deleted, or otherwise moderated into submission. Pray tell, with what in specific are you so dissatisfied? My refusal to punish rangrz, et al. for flatly stating their opinions? Or are you simply unhappy with the fact that I happen to agree with them?
 
Not at all. Maybe I'm wrong for thinking like this, but I feel like mods ought to be people who cut down the dumb bull and create an atmosphere of respectful discourse rather than actively participating in the name-calling and antagonistic environment I keep running into. There's nothing wrong with disagreement, and even a little jest is fine, but the blatant spitefullness and outright rudeness of many of your posts seem like a violation of the BLUA rules against "post or upload any content that victimizes,harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or any other reason;".

For the third time, please identify a specific scenario, post, or decision with which you take issue, then PM me to discuss it. I'm perfectly capable of being reasoned with, especially if you take such issue with [whatever] that you feel compelled to tell me how piss-poor I am at doing my job.

Really? Can you cite examples, the insolent and omnipresent PiP notwithstanding? I make no secret of the fact that I don't appreciate PiP's erratic and sometimes (as above) passive-agressive-antagonistic behavior toward myself and others. He has racked up an impressive quantity of infractions and warnings during his tenure here, and, to my knowledge, has been banned at least once.

I object to this. To my knowledge, I haven't intimidated nor harassed anyone, and certainly didn't mean to do so if I did. As for victimization, I again entreat you to identify specific examples demonstrating my supposedly draconian and dictatorial style of moderation and/or discourse. And whom, by your lights, have I degraded? If I am truly the unregenerate monster that you claim, how have I miraculously gone unpunished for so long? Are all my wicked deeds simply unnoticed? Is my naughtiness clandestine in nature? Give me a break. If you have an actual case to make, talk to me personally via PM. Otherwise...I don't know. Do what you want to do, I guess. :p

It should serve to give Lain a good idea of the kind of person you are, or at least how you present yourself to the Bluelight community at large (to say nothing of P&S).

Your record exists for that reason, and not just for posterity. It's there for reference, kiddo.

Exactly. And since it's now clear that you have nothing specific nor constructive to offer in the way of complaint, I will proceed likewise.

I realize this is this indigo thread, but I think they've converged and indigo is barely a topic.

As for using power? P A has not done so. I don't have to power to use, so who's it directed at?

I could go through this thread and the other pointing out posts which have breached this rule, but I do not care to get that deeply involved in a dispute. We have different ways of thinking, the difference being that I do not ridicule your thoughts but you do mine....
 
I don't ridicule your thought, it's your way of presenting it which irks me. If it was clear and not cryptic, I'd not mind (and perhaps I'd learn something cause I'd be able to make sense of it)
 
But there lies the problem, it isn't objective logic, it isn't black and white, it's the in-between which makes the reality of objective truth and that cannot be presented without being 'cryptic'
 
I think I'd be hard-pressed to call myself an indigoo child even on acid and PCP; this thread is characteristic of sober-talk. I've never heard about this ''phenomenon'', it must be an American thing - figures!
