How is me discussing I.e. the curvature of Riemann surface in a 4- manifold (like my posts on relativity in the what is now thread) as a representation of time not abstract?

You have to map it on to curved air before you can successfully decode it. (Then invert the meaning of the posts in the middle quarter).
 
Throat punching is the traditional method. I sometimes feel the same, but then I see that people write about being 'indigo children' -- and these people don't necessarily seem to advocate any drug use at all!
I think it must just be to do with the fact that some people will believe any old shit!
 
pk, as seemingly [flattering adjective] as P. A. is, we must love him. For me that is most effectively done by pretending he does not exist.

The fact that you've gotta constantly talk about academia that's over the heads of probably 80-90% of people, to me, is a massive testament to your ego. If something can be said simply, it should be. Because then your message reaches more people. Frankly I bet most people don't even read what you say.
 
I phrase my posts as simply and clearly as the idea will allow.

You and the group you seem to agree with post in incredibly cryptic, archaic phrasing as to render it unintelligible.

Further, all my friends, my colleagues at university and many people on many forms.understand the idea's I bring up just fine. Perhaps you merely an uneducated dimwit if you find them over your head.

I have rangrz on my ignore list and I skip over almost all of P.A.'s posts. Unfortunately I cannot add him to my ignore list since he is a mod.

I have a lot of experience with trolling, both on the giving and the receiving end, and by far the most effective solution is to ignore them. They are children throwing a temper tantrum. It is how they have been taught to receive attention; they care not if it is negative or positive. Ignoring them takes the wind right out of their sails.
 
The reason I don't understand what you post, is because it lacks Any intrinsic meaning.

Your friend likely ignore me because he is intellectually intimidated by opposing views to his easily discredited nonsense.

The supreme irony here is that you, Kam, are, taking time out of your presumably busy day to post in this subforum, in this particular thread, which post consists of nothing but posturing and slander. You see, I belong here. I run the place. You're just some presumptuous vagrant who can't even tell who the OP of a particular thread is. Oh, I'm sorry, is that why you're so butthurt?
 
Nah, I'm with Kam. I'm not one to use the ignore function because I still like to see the rare occasion fools contribute something worthy (even a broken clock, righ?), but I think you do a god awful job moderating this forum, since you are usually equally guilty of contributing to the shitstorming and raging, just cant be punished because "you run this shit".. I'm taking his advice for sure. Starting.... NOW.
