I've got to ask - why did you edit that line from Limpet_Chickens post?

I read the original and from what i remember (and based on the remaining context and begining of the sentance it's part of) he is not putting forward his own views but rather parodying the views of the daily mail and the average daily mail reader in such a way as makes it clear he thinks these things not true and that he thinks the daily mail is racist and doesn't like muslims.

Is it possible you misinterpreted his meaning here or am i missing something?

Or are we so sensitive to political correctness in EADD that we don't allow anything that has the slightest possibility to offend, even if only when read incorrectly and out of context?
 
Check the Joke Thread. They're his views alright.

It's not the first time posts have been edited for similar reasons. Shame, because some of his posts are interesting.

If it really is satire then move over, Jonathan Swift... unfortunately I think it's more a case of fuck off, Bernard Manning.
 
If it were another poster I would agree but he has pushed an anti muslim agenda too frequently for those kind of japes.

Ah fair enough. If true (not doubting you) then clearly it's me that was missing the wider context.

I don't like the Islamic religion and i pitty muslims. I feel the same way about christianity and christians. Is this an acceptable viewpoint?

yep entirely, inferring all muslims are suicide bombers, complaining about the number of brown people in a locale and talking about throwing faeces at "paki shops" however are not :).
