Things you've learned courtesy of Bluelight

What have I learned courtesy of bluelight?
(aside from all the obvious...)

We (BL'ers) are a persistent, stubborn, curious, loving, caring bunch of hedonists.

& some of us will always be wreckless regardless of the HR that BL has taught us.
(R.I.P. MTGG, Carsick & all other BL'ers who have died from drugs.)

Most BL'ers have great tolerance & time for other people & most of us have a great sense of humour. (Some funny bastards over the years & currently:))

The advice, the banter, the love & the sense of community on bluelight make it a lovely place to spend time.
I've learnt this over the years & this is why Bluelight will always be my internet home. :)

  1. That most of the drugs I wanted to try are not drugs which I actually want to try.
  2. Lots about chemistry, medicine and the human body and brain.
  3. That people who don't know too much about drugs don't like hearing myths debunked and will tell you to fuck off and stop spending so much time reading about drugs on the internet.

These two, for sure. Many more things, also.
 
also that its a load of fun talking to strangers on the internet, almost as much fun as talking to strangers in the real world.. i n fact that the internet is much teh same as the real world when it comes to socialisation... maybe il get my exciting social research obsessed sister to do a project on it, she'd love that.. i wonder if shed be able to pick me out on here?
 
I have learned just about everything I know about drugs from people on BL.

Learnt a fair bit on here that's for sure..:)

But what puzzles me is I have now over 600 posts and the sad thing is don't recall much that I have posted:o
 
To be honest Bluebell, I think more has been learned then forgotten by people on here then learned and remembered ;)

I'll definitely 2nd the lovely community vibe we've got here :)
 
ive learned that people on here really know thier stuff, and i love that. its also really nice to know that im not the only one, and that im not alone. its really refreshing and rather comforting to know that the people on bl acutally "get it".
 
Like many others have said, it is difficult to narrow it down.

However, using this site and erowid make you realise how much you have learnt when you speak to someone about drugs who has not bothered researching, just kinda regurgitating ridiculous myths *sigh*. Kinda weird and worrying that they take drugs given they believe all that rubbish..
 
Aye, that's true...

I've learned the vast cool vibes and some uncanny similarities between people unrelated apart from a thirst for drugs experiences.

It's like a cool little cult that synthesised its members in an unconscious way. :)
 
learnt that the gear is shit all over the UK and not just where i am

I have learnt about Phenazepam and how much more potent it is and how dangerous it is at the same time

I have also learnt about opium poppies and that you can nick them from yer next door neighbors garden if yer lucky lol
 
oh i just love bluelight, hoorahy for the heroin drought !!!!!!!

ive just learnt about ssris too, glad i got pregnant, and cut short that prozac px that they put me on way way too easily when i was a younger one

F&B is a legend. For many reasons. I am proud that I (think I) can consider him a webzfriend and sincerely hope that that may translate to a physical friend wot I haz actually met sometime. The same goes for Mr B and many others too. In a big way. I've yet to meet a BLer in person I don't like. I'm clearly mixing with the wrong BLers ;)

This. Beautifully put by a man who's long been on my "BLers to meet before I die" list. Ireland ain't even too far away from me so maybe... hopefully...

BL folk - and EADD folk in particular - never cease to amaze me with their innate Goodness. Except for those few twats that don't... but they either crash and burn in their own vitriolic ignorance or give up the ghost cos they fail miserably.

My BL days will never be complete until I get to fingerfuck Evad's lug'oles though =D
