And a good quality jaffle iron would be awesome to. After cooking virtually a whole free range chook in a cattiatore (with eschallots instead of onions) on the fire tonight, which was fucking superb. I want to get more camp cookware

I have been looking and looking at torches for a long time now and there is a German brand that keeps turning up in my travels. Led Lenser, here is the website www.ledlenser.com.au

They are pretty sweet it seems, but so pricey. I have a Xenon in a Dolphin style torch which is absolutely awesome, such a powerful beam (about 200 meters). But it's bulky. I would love one that would fit in my backpack nicely and not so bulky in the hand. Maybe one that takes 2 D batteries. I would never go back to a normal incandescent bulb after having a xenon torch, even a led would be better. Something like this...

My renovations to be finished. That would make my house completely cool. As it stands it is only maybe 60% cool.

A pair of jeans that fits my legs comfortably and looks good. I swear the overseas sweatshops must think Australian men are all malnourished since all they sew is incredibly skinny leg jeans.

A nice pair of light grey shoes for casual wear. I've looked for months and nothing cool.

I'd love a good quality set of Ratchet Spanners. Anyone know a good brand to buy? I couldn't find them on the Snap-On website, but Bahco do make a set of them but not like the ones I want.

Snap-On prices are a joke, they are great tools but heavily overpriced. I've got a giant toolbox filled with Sidchrome tools and even those are a little pricey. A lot of car stores should stock Kinchrome which come with a lifetime warranty and are quite cheap, not the best quality though. JBS is another good brand and just as good as Sidchrome imo, should be slightly cheaper also. Never heard of Bahco though.

Oh, sorry I didn't reply to this straight away. Yeah I have a Sidchrome socket set, they are good, I wouldn't buy anything cheaper. Bahco are a Swedish engineering company, they used to be called Sandvik. Cheaper spanners would be okay, but I'm a brand whore, and love quality stuff. It's overpriced for a reason right? :D

I'm keen to have a look at some Santoku knives sooner or later. The Wusthof ones look okay, but the actual Japanese ones are pricey. Global ones aren't too pricey.

I can imagine them being heavy in the hand and not being so long they would be manageable. I like that heavy feel of one of the shorter Mundial Knives I have.
