Theories on DMT hyperspace

Invert, I wish I had read up on this subject matter more recently and that it was fresh for me, but it has been a while since I seriously studied it.

Hemi Sync is the name of the product that I used for binaural beats:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemi-Sync
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats

http://www.monroeinstitute.com/content.php?content_id=35

I have read several books about it. It is my understanding, from what I have read, that the binaural beats do in fact alter brain waves, beyond that, I do not recall. I recall that it has been used in hospital settings as an alternative anesthesia.

My understanding of vibrational frequency is mostly experience based. I am the type of person who reads all kinds of crazy things, and entertains a lot of ideas but I come to believe things based on experience.

The binaural beat products were extremely interesting. On several occasions, I reached a state that included audial hallucinations & visions. I began achieving similar states without the tapes shortly thereafter through meditation and through focus before and after sleep.
Interesting indeed! Thanks for the links. So yes, from what I read in those links, this does appear to be an effect on 'brain waves' (i.e. the firing rate of groups of neurons firing in synchrony). I guess this is something different from ampd's vibrating molecules then.

ETA: Do your experiences with binaural beats match the descriptions on the wiki page, i.e. for each of the frequency bands (alpha. beta, gamma, etc), do you get the described effects? Have you tried it at high-gamma frequencies (between 80 and 320 Hz)?

The next time you experience a trip that seems focused on vibrations, try to change the vibrations. Try to focus on them, and also try to focus away from them. When I have achieved an out of body experience, the vibrations become VERY intense prior to separation. Intentionally trying to become one with, or push past the vibrations during a trip has created some very interesting experiences for me.
Shall do, thanks for the tip! :)

everything vibrates. for example, i am a high frequency vibrator ;-)

btw, the predom color experienced with DMT is a spot-on indicator around which chakra the individual construes his 'reality' aka where he be thinkin outa...

Very interested to know this. I have done some chakra meditation, but I am not very well versed with it. I have experienced a conscious opening of the third eye chakra, which was very strange. It was like a second field of view appeared in the middle of my forehead, as though there was a window I was looking through. Freaky.

I cannot answer this definatively. I used the Monroe approach to the binaural beats and he did not define it this way. He called the various states "focus states." Focus 10, for example, was the state of your body being deeply relaxed and almost asleep but your mind being awake and conscious. In my experiments with the binaural beats, the recording that was meant to take me to "focus 10" did, in fact, produce a mind awake body asleep state.

I am moderately ashamed to admit that I downloaded all of this and did not purchase it. As a result, I was missing certain recordings. I did not want to advance in the wrong order because it was a learned meditation process. So, because I was missing the tape that followed focus 10, I never really advanced.

However, a friend had some additional recordings, and she had one that was meant to be a deeper focus state, and when I listened to it I almost immediately snapped into a very deep meditation state that was different than focus 10.

So, in my experience, they worked and they did produce different results based on the recording you were listening to.

Another aspect was that at this time in my life I was having some emotional struggles. The recordings were producing changes in the way I fell asleep and woke up. I was experiencing a lot of sleep paralysis and hallucination and although it was often directable into an out of body state, it was also somewhat disconcerting because I was living alone. I would wake up in the middle of the night and see people in my bedroom talking, or hear conversations in my closet and be paralyzed. Some nights that was fine, but some nights I just wanted to sleep and it was freaky. So I stopped using the recordings.

Interesting thread. A lot of it seems confused though, as if fighting over a soap bubble or something.

The idea that science, logic and rational thought are not in conflict with the mystical can go a long way here. Science and the rational mind is just a little bit slower and thus a bit behind insight and direct cognition. There really is no argument, so why argue?

The brain is a chemical computer. Infuse new and different chemicals (or more of the usual ones but in larger doses) and you get new insights and new revelations. Even some distortions. But everything is real. Even the illusions are genuine illusions. Just need to figure out what they mean. The reason much of this is so difficult to figure out is because so much of it is in personal code. Some things are in a more universal code that everyone has the key to be able to figure out, like DNA and gravity and such. But psych drugs involve so much personal code where only the single individual has the key to what he is experiencing, much like dreams at night. How is the rest of the world supposed to figure out images based on an experience that you had last tuesday when someone brought up something about your dead parents and that is still bouncing around in your subconscious and emerges in the middle of your drug trip in who knows what imagery?

Anyway, just the way I see things, and thanks for getting my mind thinking on some of this stuff again.

DMT brings you inside yourself. That is the concise way of putting it.

If the colors experienced within the other realm are truly indicative of your focused chakras then I guess I am oriented around the root & solar plexus. The colors of red and gold are always the most vibrant and active in my DMT travels.

I don't believe you. No psychedelic has ever brought me as far from "inside myself" as DMT.

Smoking it about fifty times has shown this to me. Where I am psychologically has a huge effect on where I go after the veil is ripped away--yes, for some reading this is painfully obvious. Here's an example, I guess. This past summer I was in a certain period of depression and feeling lack of self-worth and chose to smoke DMT one morning because my friends were all working, I didn't have a job, and I was bored. It was plain escapism and I cannot say I haven't done it with LSD once or twice. After closing my eyes I felt the strongest cognitive dissonance & only saw muddy, disgruntled parallelograms & triangles grumpily morphing in and out of a collage filled with a very unhappy presentiment. At this point in time I was loathing myself for whatever reason and the DMT would not allow me to use it as a tool to elude this feeling. It cannot be used in such a way.

Yes, I agree that DMT can be characterized as an out of body experience if you are describing what it feels like to someone who has never done it. Closing your eyes on the drug does open up an alien "space" of sorts that feels every bit as three dimensional as our everyday reality. When it comes down to it though, I really believe DMT just shows you your own self, or soul if you wanna go there. I've noticed that a lot of people on this message board like to say "DMT is Love" and IMHO if you love yourself, well then it surely is.

You write beautifully aberrant <3 I agree with you that DMT takes you within your own soul... to that place that is completely innocent and egoless... the place that we can attain without the aid of drugs if we devote our lives to it <3 Enlightenment some call it.

But we must remember that the DMT experience is very subjective and certainly open to personal interpretation. I have always believed that ARGUING about DMT experiences is pointless and goes against everything that DMT has the ability to teach us... if you let it. <3

What I have experienced on DMT... contact with entities so real, communicating with them, interacting with them, I would have to have a myriad of multiple personalities for them all to be a creation of my own mind.

Maybe it takes you in your soul, and maybe your soul can be used as a window to look into a world beyond the chains of the physical. And maybe that world is inhabited by incredible creatures of pure energy. Just maybe.

This is true. I apologize if my post read as if I feel my interpretation of the experience is the 'correct' one. It's simply so hard to imagine it being anything else. For those who believe DMT is a space ship to a Martian party complete with vodka and candy apples, more power to ya. Whatever makes the most sense, y'know?

Quite possible! The collective conscious (since they're certainly aware when we visit them) of the machine elves is superb to be a part of :D

You are a human being, so you do contain a myriad of multiple personalities. (Some of them even demand you to hold two mutually exclusive beliefs at once, hence the origin of cognitive dissonance.)

You are seeing our universe as it truly is in addition to the Void, (a seperate universe on the other side of our own universe where no physical matter can exist other than photons). You are viewing everything in all known and unknown dimensions relavent to our own universe, while the laws of physics governing our own universe set forth by man no longer apply.

There, in Hyperspace, you are connected to the so called "Other-Side" while you are not 100% completely disconnected from your physical body in the 3rd dimension, but are seperated from the physical representation of the universe to experience "the truth" seeing the universe as it truly is. Being transported from here to there in seconds at supersonic speeds, is real. You are connected to the spiritual realm, another dimension located in another universe called The Void. The Void exists "physically" from our standpoint in the physical 3rd dimension at a current distance of 10 billion light years away from Earth.

Inside the Void, a parallel universe, the laws of physics change. Photons and Electrons are the only thing allowed to exist in the Void. There is no physical matter. They will dub the 5th dimension as "Light" in the future when mankind has to go and prove how it exists through Harvard Scholar Programs and what not. The meaning of the universe is far too complex for any given person or any other lifeform to be able to comprehend or understand.

The Void does hold the truth about who we are and connects us with every single living thing there is to have ever existed from the past present and future all at the same time from all location points in our own physical universe throughout history from the very beginning of "time" to the end. The beginning of time marks the very existance the very first atom of Hydrogen was made. From there, a chain reaction set forth to create new elements, each incrimenting by one electron up to just below the point where elements would be radioactive in the physical universe. It was only up to man to create additional elements that were never meant to be. Doing so outside of the natural elemental creation range, 100% of all known newly induced and un-natural elements will always be radioactive.

The meaning of the universe, is to have an existance of physical matter over the course of a few seconds in "Universal Time" which was set forth in motion by an Entity of higher power than our own at free will. Given that we look at the entity as a figure of God, the creator of all things, it could be fair to say we were created through a series of complex chemical reactions over time from nothing more than the natural elements of the universe we live in.

While genetically, we can only perceive the universe and comprehend its existance in 3d, Hyperspace throws all dimensions at you all at the same time thus giving most experiences phenominal and undescribable effects. You are seeing and experiencing the universe as it truly is, and you can find the answers you're looking for. Its just a matter of being able to understand and translate such complex data in large amounts to find meaning.

By far, the universe was never meant to have been understood, which is why the truth is hidden from us in our every day lives. The purpose of life is to have an existance in the physical universe for no particular reason. We all have one thing in common, and that is none of us had a choice to be here. regardless of what species you are from, you didn't have a say so in wanting to be here in the physical universe. Life isn't predetermined, meaning we don't know how our lives are going to turn out, but we can serve and impliment a purpose for being here, such as making sure the human species remains in existance. and as far as time goes, existance is the very presence of matter.

When we die, our physical portion of our body remains here to decompose on Earth while we migrate to the Void spiritually, or electronically in a sense, where we remain to help guide others who come to visit. Remeber that physically, though the Void is 10 billion light years away, we can travel there through "Hyperspace" arriving there in just under 30 seconds using a transporting method that IS NOT physically possible, but made possible through the use of Hypersonic traveling using the Scalar Method where electrons and photons can travel in subsets of the speed of light similar to the mach's of the speed of sound.

I think everything is science. Stalemate. I can't prove you to be wrong and neither can you prove me to be wrong.

This might sound goofy.... but do you choose to dance or take part in any arts of flow? (Whatever that might be for you, any artist not accounting for physics and science in general is missing out too.)

Oh yes, one thing that leads to confusion on many is the fact that you are still connected to the physical universe here at the same time as visiting the void allowing you to see our universe as it truly is while being at 2 different places at once that are 10 billion light years apart physically but only a few seconds apart in travel time through the Hyperspace transport.

You know, lacquermaster, I am pretty well-read in quantum physics, and cosmology, as well as philosophy and the mind/body relationship, and that all sounds just wacked-out enough to actually possibly be true! Thanks! (note - FYI, you might find some interesting thoughts and references in the thread "Can DMT be used to contact the dead")

Anyway, I like the way you think, and sequence ideas together, and write them out. What are your other interests, and what kind of educational and professional backgrounds do you have? I am interested in hearing more of what you have to report/teach and also perhaps in getting to know you. Do contribute to any other web sites?

^^Now that was quite interesting!

One thing laquer... how do you know that the current you did not choose to be here? I would imagine most infants would start opting out of all of this once they started crying if it were that easy to choose not to be here!

I'm a 31 year old software engineer who does computer repair hehe.

I think you can use DMT to communicate with the dead as it seems to connect everything spiritually together. looking up "the void universe" on google, it does exist with no physical matter in it. Trying to put everything into words is very complicating and almost humanly impossible.

If I had a choice to be here, I would have said no thanks,
but since I'm here, I think I'll try to make the best of it I can.
