I agree codeine shouldn't be scheduled. I had bells palsy and had major pain that regular tylenol wasn't doing it so they gave me some codeine. After like one bottle they stopped cause its a "narcotic" and they were afraid of me becoming addicted and they just thought I wanted them. Yet the truth is my pain was so bad I was up crying all night in the bathroom with my mom on the cell with an on call doctor...even that doctor was like its fucked up they wouldn't give me any more codeine and I wasn't faking the pain either. They just didn't want to give a teenager a narcotic even though I had extreme migraines and pain from the bells palsy that they had to shoot me up with morphine in the emergency room.... Doctors around here.
