Been watching some south park, "Butters's bottom bitch", cracks me up

being a right lazy shite, might find some other shit to watch
 
Breaking bad, the walking dead and dexter are all finished for a while. Three of the best tv shows I've ever seen, amazing in their own way. Waiting for the new Spartacus and thinking I should finish of the wire
 
You start off with breaking bad saying its one of the best ever, and finish off saying you need to finish the wire?!? Jesus man, there's the wire, [ti] then [/i] the tier for best tv show, The Wire is in a league of its own, sort it aarrrttt ;)

On the flip side i've seen loads of people online and IRL saying how great breaking bad is and how its on a par with the wire, i mean its not bad, better than most (though i preferred prison break and it seems to be on a par with sons of anarchy that i've just finished s1 of), i mean its good, watchable and enjoyable but not on that level, i wouldnt put it near game of thrones! Though BB, GoT, Dexter, Prison Break which i watched last month and 24 if you like action are all great series to watch, im gonna finish watching death note and crack on with SoA or maybe start the walking dead as everyone says its ace.

True blood i like aswel for the tack side of things, anyone remember heroes? That started off with such high potential but they just let is dissolve into mindless waffle with half finished story plots, huge plot holes and half the show not making sense. Kk ranted out, nn bl <3

Most of the show is based on real cases that happen around the Mcarthur Park/Silverlake/Echo Park/Los Feliz area of Los Angeles
Proper Junkie places,so they dont really make stuff up

I know it's tragic. I really rate the wire, it is beautifully made. Guess I submersed myself in breaking bad through the marathon watches on Netflix. The plot twists were gobsmacking and I kind of just immersed myself in the meth world for hours on end haha. I'm a massive fan of Bryan Cranston as well :)

I don't think any particular one is better that the other. I tried rating them in my head and they're all 10s lol.
 
The wire is one of the most detailed shows ever made top marks.
I bought each season for 25 quid a week and spent 125 quid total then i see all 5 seasons for 60 in hmv the other day.

Loved sons of anarchy from when the first episode appeared on tv..
Season 1 and 2 were great season 3 where they go to ireland abolute bshite.crap script offensively bad irish accents...tosh.dissapointing

Bought season one and two of boardwalk empire.
Highly reccomend it best show i have seen in years. Top marks.

Agreed, love those 3, and spartacus. haven't given the wire a proper go, only seen bits of it, always keep hearing how good it is though

Please tell me I'm misreading that last part. Are you trying to say the Game of fucking Thrones is better than Breaking Bad? Get a grip. Game Of Thrones is awright, as far as fucking dragons & "Knights Of The Realm" go (ie, usually complete & utter shite but GoT is decent).

Breaking Bad, The Wire & The Sopranos are pretty much on a par with each other as the greatest TV ever made imo. Ask me on different days & I'll say one of them is better.

I've never seen Southland, been meaning to for a while. I'll sort that out soon.

Dan - Spartacus is howling. Really, really bad. A few of my mates are into it. Mainly birds or guys with pish taste to be fair. I tried to give it a go. Actually struggled through 6 episodes of shitty soft-porn & fake CGI blood before finally deleting it. Total pish. The CGI blood was the real nail in the coffin tbh, at least if the fight scenes had been good then I could probably have put up with it, but as soon as a good fight scene kicked off the CGI blood started flowing. Fuck knows what made them decide to do that, it looks so bad.


Edit - Re: Game Of Thrones, I just went on Facebook there & my mate has posted "Rob Stark just walked past me in Frasers, nearly took a knee and shouted King of the North. Best Christmas present i'm getting." =D

Another one of my mates saw Joffrey at a train station in Edinburgh (A lot of the actors must be Scottish). Said it took all his restraint to not walk up & boot fuck out him lol.

Yep i agree, on breaking bad, sopranos, also band of brothers, and other stuff. id put game of thrones up near it. seen a lot of good shit over the years

Yeah the shitty blood stuff on Spartacus is cack, the cgi effects are kinda tacky and shit reminds me of sort of comic book kinda thing, thought it was crap to start off with but got a lot better,

Breakin Bad, the pilot was one of the best bits of telly i've ever seen. The first 3-4 shows were sweet. But then I lost interest.

As has already been mentioned 'Southland' is an excellent programme.
I wish that 'Third Watch' would get repeated on some channel as that was a brilliant series.
 
Dan, you really need to NSFW your post about Dexter, because I'd be raging if I'd not seen it, and read that.

New Peep Show last night had some classic moments. The finale is on TONIGHT, which is a bit different. Won't complain.

I got the 3 seasons all ready n was looking forwaed to this show & i'm not impressed so far . Only watched 4 episodes so i will give it another shot .

The Wire it ain't n that's for sure , doesn't come close. I've lived in Ca. as & well and am familiar with L.A .
